Challenges faced by importers
Does every product variation require its own Certificate?
Approach: Grouping
Manufacturer or Importer
Country of Origin (COC)
Age Range, Material, Function,
Feature
Brand HS Code
Grouping by:
Fewer Certificates needed
Die Cast Cars
Same importer/manufacturer
Same HS Code
Same material
Same brand
Same features and functionality
Case study: Toys
Plastic Toys
Same importer/manufacturer
Different HS Codes
Same material
Different brand
Different features and functionality
The solution?
Only issue 1 Certificate
Multiple Certificates
are Required
