Pricing news for 2011

Journal subscription prices frozen for 2011 e-only titles We are pleased to announce the second consecutive year of no price increase. 2011 e-only subscription prices are held at the 2009 levels for the majority of titles.

A price increase of 3.9% has been applied to the majority of the print with free electronic access versions.

Customers wishing to take advantage of e-only pricing should email [email protected]

or contact their regional representative or subscription agent.

Single title archive

In 2011, customers will be able to take advantage of a new archive option for most titles. The single journal archive purchase provides permanentaccess to content from a journal’s first year up to 2010, for a one-time fee.This does not affect the 10 years of content access provided with each IOP journal subscription. For more information, contact your regionalrepresentative (p8).

Perpetual access

IOP Publishing provide continued e-access rights to the subscribed year for all institutional print plus electronic and e-only subscriptions.A choice of options is available for customers to access the subscribed content when necessary. • The supply of data on a local storage medium such as DVD or hard disk. This service will be provided free of charge.• The supply of data via a third party archiving service such as Portico. Details of this option have yet to be confirmed but it is our intention to offer this option

at no cost.• Continued access via the IOP Publishing website. A small fee per journal will be levied for this selection to cover the costs of maintaining the service.
