1. Organization Description
● Love Thy Neighbor Mexico is a non-profit organization educating American teenagers about the consequences of illicit demand of drugs coming from Mexico
● Private and Institutionally funded● Granted 501(c)3 status by the IRS● Online and offline awareness campaigns,
namely social media and institutional education curriculum

● I was given the task to prepare the workframe for selling bracelets in support of the cause
● Monitor and evaluation of social presence across different outlets
● Develop and execute a marketing campaign● Added social widgets to the website while
also fixed minor technical issues
I did it!!!
● Produced a thorough report on the social activity; including a best practices approach for managing social activity
● Proposed an improved Sitemap according to industry standards
● Collaboration was limited as space constraints limited my exposure to other team members
● Prepared a final recommendation presentation for the organization

● Better understanding of the dynamics of pulling data and making decisions based on this data sets
● Hourly-based job teached me to effectively manage my time
● Non-profit culture is as hard and fast as a Startup Culture
● As obvious as this may seem, no business can thrive without a clear revenue stream or "business" plan

6. What Was Useful Moving Forward
● As one of my expectations is to become a digital marketing consultant with a focus on nonprofits, the whole experience was crucial for me
● Goals and expectations; both quantitative & qualitative, have to be set as clearly and early as possible
● A contingency plan should be put in place beforehand
● Taking full command, from day one of my activities, is expected
