Why are Integrated Experiences Important? On a daily basis we sell our products to our market. We are convincing people to go on an exchange, trying to show them the value proposition of exchange, trying to get people to come to Croatia, in some way or the other each of us are striving on a daily basis to make exchanges happen within our LCs.

However it’s a little ironical that we ourselves haven’t experienced an exchange experience.

What is a matching mania? Matching Mania is a space where all the people interested in going on an exchange (in this case, AIESECers and the friends they bring along) and our country partners will be present in a common virtual space (Skype or hangouts). Country partners will present their projects. After this, we breakout into individual interviews between the country partners and participants based on the projects that the participants are interested in. If you get selected after the interview, you will be given 1-2 days to make a final decision and reply to the country partners. Is this campaign for both Global Citizen and Global Talent? No, this is specifically for Global Citizen. When will I have to go if I get matched? The matching mania is for projects that will be between June, July and August Which are our country partners? Italy, Poland, Czech, Hungary, Turkey, Slovakia, Brazil, India and Morocco. What if I want to go to some other country? Our country partners are selected in a way in which we have covered atleast one country from every part of the world. However if you still want to go to another country apart from the 9 listed above, we will try to facilitate that as well. You need to mention on the registration form which other country you are interested in. Important suggestion would be to not focus on the country itself but instead on the projects and the kind of work you will be doing.

Can my friend and me go on an exchange to the same city on the same project? We can try to match you to the same project in the same city but cannot guarantee it. We encourage you to infact try going to different countries altogether and challenge yourself to get to know completely new people. Will my friend also get the internship discount of not having to pay any fee to AIESEC? No, the discount is only for AIESECers Can I participate in the Matching Mania even if I don’t have any other friend that wants to go on an exchange? Yes, you can still participate in the Matching Mania. The only difference being that you will not be eligible to get the discount. What if I am unavailable to participate in the Matching Mania on the 15th of April? If you want to go on exchange but cannot make it to the matching mania, then please mention on the registration form and we will try to arrange something else as an alternative.
