You Can Rock, Too! Host an Israeli ShaliachShlichim are college-aged youth from Israel who spend their summers working as camp counselors throughout the U.S. Each summer, we are very fortunate to have the opportunity to host two Shlichim who enhance our camp program by building a bridge between American youth and Israeli culture. These talented young adults go through an intensive screening and training process in Israel in preparation for working with our children here at J-Camp.

We are looking for local families to host our two Shlichim accommodating one or both indi-viduals for a two- or three-week period of time providing them with a welcoming family and friendly San Antonio environment. It is an incredible opportunity for families, especially those with children in our camp. Think of it as bringing Israel to your family!
