The main purpose of the European Journal of Psy-

chological Assessment (EJPA) is to present semi-

nal information on both theoretical and applied

developments in the fi eld of psychological as-

sessment. Articles reporting the construction of

new measures or the advancement of existing

measures are given priority.

The journal is directed to practitioners as well as

to academicians: The conviction of its editors is

that the discipline of psychological assessment

should, necessarily and fi rmly, be attached to the

roots of psychological science, while going deeply

into all the consequences of its applied,

practice-oriented development. Psychological

assessment is experiencing a period of renewal

and expansion, attracting more and more atten-

tion from both academic and applied psychology,

as well as from political, corporate, and social

organizations. EJPA provides a meeting point for

this movement, contributing to the scientifi c de-

velopment of psychological assessment and to

communication between professionals and re-

searchers in Europe and worldwide. The journal

presents clearly written original papers, reviews,

and case studies in all domains of psychological

assessment.

European Journal of Psychological Assessment is

European Psychologist is a multidisciplinary jour-

nal that serves as the voice of psychology in

Europe, seeking to integrate across all specializa-

tions in psychology and to provide a general plat-

form for communication and cooperation among

psychologists throughout Europe and worldwide.

The journal publishes two kinds of contributions:

1. Original Articles and Reviews: Integrative arti-

cles constitute the core material published in the

journal. These state-of-the-art papers cover

research trends and developments within psy-

chology, with possible reference to European per-

ceptions or fi elds of specialization. Empirical arti-

cles that present fi ndings from major

multinational, multidisciplinary, or longitudinal

studies, or results with markedly wide relevance

are also published.

2. EFPA News and Views are a central source of

information on important legal, regulatory, ethi-

cal, and administrative matters of interest to

members of the European Federation of Psychol-

ogists’ Associations (EFPA) and other psycholo-

gists working throughout Europe. Such items

include: News, reports from congresses or EFPA

task forces and member country organizations,

policy statements, keynote and award addresses,

archival or historical documents with relevance

for all European psychologists, and calendars of

forthcoming meetings.

Journal of Media Psychology (JMP) is committed

to publishing original, high-quality papers which

cover the broad range of media psychological

research, including various media, applications,

and user groups. It is also open to research from

neighboring disciplines as far as this work ties in

with psychological concepts of the uses and

effects of the media. In particular, it publishes

multidisciplinary papers that refl ect a broader

theoretical and methodological spectrum and

comparative work, e.g., cross-media, cross-

gender, or cross-cultural. Original empirical

studies are accompanied by theoretical and

state-of-the-art review articles. Preregistration

of research plans is now also possible.

JMP builds up on almost 20 years of experience in

publishing high-quality research in the Zeitschrift

für Medienpsychologie (ZMP). While ZMP focused

on German and European media research, JMP

takes up the challenges of the more globalized

media world by offering an international publica-

team of editors and reviewers ensuring the

highest scientifi c standards.

The Journal of Personnel Psychology is a periodi-

cal dedicated to international research in psy-

chology as it relates to the working environment

and the people who “inhabit” it.

The journal welcomes excellent empirical and

theoretical contributions to basic and applied

research in personnel psychology and related

methodology. Reviews are also welcome. Articles

deal with all fi elds in personnel psychology,

including selection, performance measurement,

motivation, leadership, organizational commit-

ment, personnel development and training, new

test developments, and job analysis. As many top-

ics in personnel psychology are closely related to

issues in other branches of psychology or, more

generally, the social sciences and human

resource management, the journal is open to

contributions of an interdisciplinary nature.

from reports of original research, consideration is

given to reviews and theoretical papers including

The Zeitschrift für Psychologie (ZfP), originally

founded in 1890, is the oldest psychology journal

in Europe and the second oldest in the world. Now

completely in English, ZfP publishes high-quality

research from all branches of empirical psycholo-

gy in four topical issues per year. Each carefully

compiled issue generally consists of one broad

review paper accompanied by original articles

from leading researchers. An experienced inter-

national editorial board and external reviewers

ensure that the journal’s strict peer-review pro-

cess is in keeping with its long and honorable tra-

science. ZfP thus brings convenient, cutting-edge

compilations, each covering an area of current

interest.

Individual subscribers

Individual subscribers will be provided with per-

sonal access to full-text articles via email

address and password. The electronic access can

be easily activated at the journal’s web site:

individual subscribers can also obtain online

access to the full-text (in general, including back

issues from 1999 onwards) of all 32 active psy-

chology journals as well as the 8 archive journals

published by the Hogrefe group.

Institutional subscribers

Fees for access to the online journals for institu-

tions depend on the size of the institution. For ac-

ademic institutions and schools the size is deter-

mined on the basis of the number of “full-time

equivalents” (FTEs; students, teaching staff,

research staff) and for public libraries on the ba-

sis of the number of registered users. For all other

institutions (hospitals, commercial organizations,

etc.), the size is determined on the basis of the

number of potential qualifi ed users (“Relevant

Professionals” or RPs).

The basis for calculating the fees is the published

institutional subscription price for the respective

journal including VAT (if applicable). All fees for

online access exclude any applicable VAT. We will be happy to provide a detailed price quota-

tion tailored to your requirements. Please contact

[email protected].

Archive rights after termination of subscription

Starting with the 2015 annual volumes, paid on-

line subscriptions (excluding the basic tier) also

include perpetual access rights to the volumes

published during the term of the subscription.

ment that only includes limited archive rights

(5 years) and who terminate their agreement may

purchase perpetual access rights to the volumes

published during the term of their subscription for

a one-time fee (excluding VAT) per annual volume

equivalent to 10% of the current institutional print

subscription price. Please note that this offer only

applies to volumes published during the term of

the subscription.
