Second Collection –This weekend’s Second Collection will be for the Air Conditioning Replacement. Thanks to all who have already contributed. Jolly Jogues – This fall the Jolly Jogues Senior Group will be celebrating our 31st Anniversary. We look forward to seeing you on Tuesday, September 10th, for the 12:05 pm Mass which is being offered for the Living and Deceased Members of the Jolly Jogues and 30th Anniversary Luncheon in the Parish Hall after Mass. Registration forms and information are available at all Church entrance. Reservations are a must and due by Thursday, September 5th. St. Isaac’s Knights of Columbus - will be having a cookout for the veterans at the VA Hospital in Coatesville on Saturday, August 17th, at 10 am. We grill hot dogs and hamburgers, and serve lots of other “cookout” food. We invite anyone in the parish interested in helping to join us! RELIGIOUS EDUCATION WHAT DRAWS PEOPLE INTO THE CATHOLIC FAITH? While there are many different circumstances that lead a person in the direction of Catholicism, the simple answer is, “Because God has called them.” Most often, God calls to us through the people closest to us, through our families and friends. Most who have entered the Church have been influenced by a Catholic spouse, fiancé, or close friend. For many of these people, a desire to raise their children in the knowledge of God spurred them to action. What is this if not the action of the Holy Spirit? CATECHISTS NEEDED: If you are an adult who is a practicing Catholic in good standing, who is willing to teach Catholic Faith and Morals to the children of our parish, please contact the office of Religious Education at (610) 687-2481 or [email protected] and schedule an interview with the director. All catechists, aides and volunteers must submit or obtain all required clearances and training in order to work with children. Please note that the parish will pay the fees for these clearances. Catechists are needed for the following classes: Sunday’s 9:00-10:15 am, 3rd and 6th grades. Volunteers are also needed for a couple of classes throughout the year as testers and substitutes, if interested please contact us. 2019-2020 C.C.D. Registration: St. Isaac Jogues Parish offers Religious Education classes for all children in the parish who are not currently enrolled in Catholic School for grades Kindergarten through 7th grade. Classes are held on Sundays 9-10:15AM or 10:30-11:45AM.
