Please remember to return your baby bottles this Father’s Day, June 21 st or as soon as possible. At Birthright, we see the tragic impact of the lack of a Father’s POSITIVE support in the lives of children. No one can fill the shoes of a good Dad and it’s a hard job to try. Fathers give guidance, confidence, strength and self-respect. We are thankful for those responsible Dads. Birthright has been in existence for over 40 years, we love and care about women and children. We encourage protection of the family. You may call Birthright at 456-9495. Congratulations to Madison L. Emerson Baptized June 13, 2015. Parents: Newton Emerson and Jacqueline Tabor Emerson. Godparents: Seth Emerson and Melissa Tabor. SUMMER IS HERE With the arrival of warmer weather it might be tempting to attend Mass dressed in clothing more appropriate for a picnic or sporting event. ST JUDE GARDEN-Weeding & Watering Help Needed

We need volunteers to help weed and water throughout the summer. It takes no more than 20

minutes of your time to help us ensure we have a strong and productive crop to deliver to those in need in Willington. Our new compost bin and watering system was Nye Deskus' Eagle Scout project. Thanks to his efforts it is even easier to help care for the garden that gives to so many. There is a signup sheet at the back of the church. Thank you in advance for your help.

June is “LEAVE A LEGACY” month in the Diocese of Norwich. It is a wonderful time for parishioners to consider the value of charitable estate planning. Some people choose to mark their legacy by requesting gifts made in memoriam to their parish, school, ministry or the Diocese in lieu of flowers upon their passing. Others include a bequest in their will to their favorite Catholic organization. If you would like to learn how to support the good works that the Church is involved in, please contact Mary Ellen Mahoney, Development Manager, at (860) 886-1928 or [email protected]. COMBINED COLLECTION FOR WORLD CHARITIES

is next weekend June 27 & 28. Your contribution will provide assistance to the Catholic Relief Services Collection, the Campaign for Human Development, Aid to the Church in Central and Eastern Europe, and The Holy Land. There are envelopes in the vestibule at St. Philip's or on the table at St. Jude's, if you'd like to take one home today and bring it back next week. Your support and generosity are essential to these programs of the Universal Church.

ALTAR SERVERS NEEDED Father Greg is in need of Altar Servers. If you would like to become an Altar Server please call the office or speak with Father Greg. Thank you.

MASS INTENTION ENVELOPES To make it easier to order a Mass for your beloved dead or for any other occasion like an Anniversary, Birthday, etc., you may pick up the new Mass Intention envelope in the vestibule at

St. Philip's or next to the bulletins on the table at St. Jude’s. You can fill it out and place it in the collection basket. Weekend and Holy Day Masses are $20 and weekday Masses are $15.
