– Working with the city, the LCLD and private natural land owners to apply Firewise principles on the land adjacent to the residences (possibly also the county)

– Getting residence owners to apply Firewise principles on their land and residences, especially those with borders on natural land.

– Establish evacuation plans and educate residents of those plans

– Understand and support or criticize responder's plans for a wildfire

– Assure that funding and resources are available at all the appropriate levels of governance.
