Lincoln County 4-H Newsletter
January-February 2018
Clover Corner News
The Kentucky 4-H Foundation is proud
to be a part of the Kentucky Farm License
Plate Voluntary Donation Program. When
renewing their license plates, Kentucky
farmers can make a $10 donation. The
proceeds of this program will be divided
equally among Kentucky 4-H, FFA, and
Kentucky Proud.
The 4-H Foundation splits the
donations equally between the county
from which the fund originate and the
Foundation itself, making this a great
opportunity for our local 4-H program.
Last year, Lincoln County 4-H received
over $700!
Please consider making a $10 donation
as you renew your Kentucky Farm
License Plates. Your support is greatly
appreciated.

Happy New Year! I hope you are ready for another
great year with Lincoln County 4‐H, because I have lots
of new ideas and plans for this year!
It’s me to start gearing up for 4‐H Communica ons
Contests. The County Speech Contest is scheduled for
Tuesday, February 6 and the County Demonstra on
Contest is scheduled for Tuesday, March 6.
There is addi onal informa on about each of these
events included in this newsle er. It’s much easier than
you realize to give a speech or demonstra on. Take
some me to think it over. Use a snow day and write or
prac ce your speech. This is a great way to learn an
important skill and earn some 4‐H Bucks!
*******NEW in 2018*******
