The large, high-contrast, white LCDdisplay contributes to the exceptionalclarity and therefore readability of theE CC/E EC series. The display canbe read unambiguously from greater distances and from much wider viewingangles than normal.

Clearer LCD display

Coupled with the autotuning algorithms,which greatly reduce set-up andcommissioning time, Omrons CX-Thermosupport software has been speciallydeveloped for use with the E CC/E ECseries. This enables faster parameter set-up, easier device adjustment andsimpler maintenance.

Although intrinsic high sampling speedand high precision are built into theE CC/E EC series, Omrons -PID controlis a key factor behind the advantage itoffers over standard controllers. Usinga powerful algorithm, it makes all thedifference to control stability and thusthe quality of your products.

High-contrast display White LCD offers the greatest contrast to the black instrumentation backgrounds found in panels andthe lighting conditions found in most control rooms. Despite the compact dimensions of the E CC/E EC series, the use of white LCD technology means that the - mm display height gives maximumclarity for its size. The distance and viewing angle of the high-contrast, white LCD light display is alsofar less critical for viewers, ensuring correct readings every time.

The white LCD display is easy to read in the subdued lightingconditions found in most control rooms.

The display remains easy to read even from wide viewingangles.

Save space! The compact and space-saving design of the new E CC/E EC controller generation requires less panel depth (mm), allowing quick snap-mounting and easy installationeven under very cramped conditions.

Thanks to the IP66 protection of the front cover, the E5CC/E5EC can withstandhumid environments and also be cleaned with non-aggressive fluids.

The E CC/E EC series is extremely easy to connect, set-up and operate in just a few simple stepsusing the instruments five front keys. Omrons CX-Thermo software and new navigation assistant for intuitive settings offers the fastest possible parameter setting, easier device adjustment and simpler maintenance.

CX-Thermo V4.4 must be preinstalled. It isavailable as a bundle together with USBconverter E58-CIFQ2 and E58-CIFQ2-E
