no proper facilities for either the staff members or the commuters.The toilets are dysfunctional. There is no seating facility and the commuters are forced to
stand which causes hardship to senior citizens.Due to lack of space, the bus stop gets over crowded during peak hours. The buses are parked
very close to one another which poses a grave danger to commuters. It led to the tragic deathof a woman last month, when she got sandwiched between two buses in the terminus.

According to a resident of the aprtment. Corporation work-ers cut and removed the branches of the fallen tree after theVardha cyclone in 2016, but left behind its main trunk.
He said that several minor accidents involving 2-wheelershave occurred as the trunk is not visible at night.

When that section opens,commuters can take a direct trainfrom Central to the Airport andtravel in two different directionsas the direct service linking allmajor transit hubs from Central,Egmore station, KoyambeduCMBT and the airport viaAlandur will continue.
The original two corridorswere planned from Washer-menpet to airport via Centraland from Central to St. ThomasMount via Koyambedu. ButCMRL introduced a direct servicefrom Central to Airport viaNehru Park, Shenoy Nagar,
