INTRODUCTION
The GE Osmonics EZ4 Reverse Osmosis Series Kits have been designed for ease of assembly andreliable operation. Following the instructions in this assembly guide will assure that the machineremains reliable for many years to come.
TOOLS
Assembly of an EZ4 machine can be completed with a small assortment of common tools. A listof the tools is shown below:
Safety Glasses#2 Phillips (Cross blade) Screwdriver#2 Regular (Flat blade) Screwdriver, mediumWire Cutter / StripperWire Crimping ToolRazor or tubing cutterWrench SetSlip Joint PliersBench ViseRatchet/Socket SetSquareLevelTape MeasureDrill7/16” Drill Bit#10 Drill Bit1/4” x 18 NPT Tap#10 - 32 NPT Tap
SPECIAL NOTES:
CAUTION: Inspect parts thoroughly before assembling the machine. Once machine isassembled, parts damaged during assembly are not replaced under warranty.
It is advisable to assemble your machine on a hard, smooth surface that you can walk aroundto perform various assembly procedures.
Use thread tape on all threaded fittings.
Lubricate all O-ring seals.
