GENERAL INFO

RUA RED Opening HoursBox office / Reception: 10am – 6pm, Mon – SatThe centre is open until 10pm for private classes and rehearsal. The Box Office opens late for performances and events.Closed on Bank Holiday Mondays and Public Holidays.

AccessibilityWe are committed to being an accessible venue and our public areas are fully accessible for those with limited mobility. Facilities include an elevator, adapted toilets, and auditorium seating. An induction loop is available at reception and in the performance space.Please let us know if you have any specific access requirements and we will do our utmost to accommodate them.

How To Get HereBy Luas: Take the Red line to the last stop, Tallaght. Turn right off the tram and you will see us!

By Bus: Routes with stops nearby are 49, 49A, 50, 54A, 65, 65B, 27, 77A. All these buses leave from Eden Quay in the City Centre. Check dublinbus.ie for details.

Parking: We recommend parking in Tallaght Cross car park by Marks and Spencers for €4 max charge. Alternatively the Square Shopping Centre offer the first two hours parking free. The Civic Theatre car park may be used free of charge after 7pm on week days and all day Saturday.

RUA RED CafeThe new community focused café at the heart of RUA RED, South Dublin Arts Centre will create a

space that offer our customers healthy and delicious foods at reasonable prices. A social space where our

visitors become part of a culture of a creative and connected community.

RUA RED Café will be the ideal meeting spot for a business coffee or lunch with friends, with an

expanded art trolley for kid’s art activities, daily newspapers, magazines and publications to read on

comfy couches, and additional workspaces and power sockets to get creative and linger on

free wi-fi. We will also promote a regularly changing

exhibition wall which provides opportunities for local artists and groups to have their work viewed by

the wider community.
