I am a third year architecture student currently enrolled at NJIT. During my studies I have aquired a passion for all things design and am constantly testing new ideas. I take inspiration from travelling, different cultures,

and new experiences.

the study abroad trip was run by proff philip spe-ranza. the program consisted of study-ing urban typolo-gies and culminated in a final project in the 22@ dis-trict. More info and work samples:http://lcabcn2012.w

the intent for the artist residence was to provoke moments of spontaneous

interactions between visitors and artists. Through the use of deployable walls to reveal practice rooms and the providing of dynamic public spaces, visitors are enticed to interact with artists both visually and physically.

urban filtration

the intent behind this housing project was to deploy a frame work that could be repeated at other sites, which would then create a 24-hr downtown district. the project is meant to encourage more

foot traffic in the city of newark through the use and manipulation of the field and its points. By strategically placing activity zones, the network of

inter-related activities can be expanded to other parts of Newark, creating a downtown district that

contains something to do at all hours of the day.

The school attempts to provide a more interactive and personal experience

for younger students while maintaining vernacular traditions. Using local

materials, classrooms are grouped and modulated. The buffer and private

spaces created surround the courtyard to break up chaotic circulation and provide more intimate and implied

in this project, the plaza is seen as a topo sufrace, carved out by the

movement of people. the plaza provides spaces for interaction, alone time, market space, and a TKTS booth. paths from different access point and to end destination points define the form.

james st facadeThe idea for the facade was to take the bay window as a catalyst for in-teraction inside and outside the

building, and redefine how influential the facade becomes in the social life

of the building. By dividing the building into strips and shifting them

the facade can start to define the level of interaction that takes place.

plans

bayonne water taxi terminal

the terminal was first conceptual-ized as a boardwalk, which provides one set path. if the board walk is broken and fragmented, multiple

paths arise. with this idea, differ-ent modules were composed in a frag-mented way to break up circulation clutter and to provide paths to spe-

cific users.
