Thus, I would like to congratulate you for making the huge step of applying for MC Algeria. This shows your commitment and loyalty to our organization,

but also your willingness to make things better inside and outside AIESEC, for Algeria.

AIESEC has the potential to be an important change agent in our country. Brave, self-aware and professional young leaders are then needed,

at this exact moment, in order to improve our performances and widen the impact of our actions on the Algerian society.

Our MC team will have the responsibility to build the roadmap of AIESEC for the next 5 years in Algeria – and you want to be part of the first generation of AIESEC 2020.

It is, indeed, a heavy responsibility, but you have what it takes. This is why you think you’re the right person to join the Leadership Body of our entity. This may also explain why you hesitated a lot – and maybe you are still hesitating.

MC Algeria represents AIESEC as a National association in the Global Network and Algeria. It is meant to serve the Local Committees and to foster implementation of strategies, new mindset

and innovation, driving the growth of the organization and developing the leaders that Algeria needs. This team should embody, as role models, the behaviors and values that will make the change happen.

MC Positions Details• Previous Leadership Role in AIESEC is required – EB/NST preferred.• Each MCVP is expected to work 15-20 hours per week (part-time job), 40 hours (full-time job)• MC term officially starts on July 1st 2016 and officially ends on June 30th 2017• MC Headquarters is based in Algiers• Transition period will officially start on May 1st 2016• Further details will be given after the election.

3.5.1 The Member Committee shall have full powers of management and administration, subject to the prerogatives of Legislative Meeting.

3.5.8 MCP and MCVPs can be part or full time jobs. The Member Committees Head office is based in Algiers. Full time positions shall have a salary and shall be ratified with the Member Committee Budget during an NLM.

3.6 Member Committee PresidentThe Member Committee President shall be the Chief Executive Officer of the organization. That person shall carry out the decisions and policies of the General Body Meetings and shall exercise a general control and supervision over the affairs of the organization

General Job Description• Co-create the Action Plan for 1617 with the National Plenary• Understand and foster the National strategies regardless the position• Create spaces, tracking and support system for the Local Committees• Align National Strategies to Global Strategies, delivering an adapted approach to LCs• Deliver the National Education Cycle created by the MCVP OD• Attend all MC Meetings and Team Days• Attend Monthly and Quarter reviews• Attend and deliver National Conferences and Summits• Ensure LC Visits and transparent communication with the National Plenary• Represent AIESEC Algeria in Regional and International Conferences.

• You’re kindly invited to list your preferences in the last question of the General Questionnaire, then to answer the Specific Questionnaire of your preferred position.• You can apply for more than 1 position (with a maximum of 5 pages for each specific questionnaire).• Allocation will be done by MCP after the MC Election, and once the final structure is ready.• Applications should fulfill all the requirements, be complete and sent before the deadline to: [email protected]• Late or incomplete applications won’t be taken into consideration.

Election and Selection Procedure in the Current National Compendium

5.5 Member Committee Vice Presidents applications and Selections5.5.1 Each Vice President candidate will participate in the selection process outlined below after the December National Legislative Meeting.

i. Each candidate is required to submit an application form in the required format to AIESEC in Algeria’s MC by the deadline set.ii. The National Plenary shall undertake a vote of confidence for each MC VP candidate.iii. The candidates who secured a confidence vote shall go through a selection process with the MCPe, and then the MCPe shall make the final decision on his/her team.iv. The application forms for MC VPs shall be released within 15 days after the National Legislative Meeting.

5.5.2 If case some MC VP positions have not been filled, the MC will open as many rounds as needed until the whole MC team is selected.

1. Fully Answered General Questionnaire: must not exceed 5 pages in PDF format 2. Fully Answered Specific Questionnaire: must not exceed 5 pages (for each area) in PDF format. You can apply for more than one area.

3. Endorsements: 3 letters from AIESEC Algeria – or 1 from AIESEC Algeria and 1 from a foreign entity – (EB or MC level), all with updated contacts and the endorser’s original signature. 4. Blank Page Challenge: 1 page in PDF format – the following two questions can help you in this: - How do you envision the ideal MC team - If you could change only one thing in our organization, what would it be?

5. Curriculum Vitae: 1 page in PDF format 6. Strategy Speech Video: to be uploaded on YouTube and its link put in a PDF file. - Duration: your speech (in English) must not exceed 10 minutes. - Structure: introduce yourself, your motivation, your vision, your strategy

7. Executive Summary: 1 page in PDF format summarizing the main contents of your application.

MCVPOD is responsible for the general growth, development and evolution of the organization.

MCVP OD is also responsible for the talent capacity strategies.Through the implementation of Team Minimums and with more synergy with all the areas,

they should make the organization faster and bigger.

By gathering information on all the organizational levels, MCVP OD is in charge of ensuring balanced and healthy growth of LCs.

Finance & Legal


RESPONSIBILITIES

• Creation of National Budget• Administration of MC/LC funds• Legalization of AIESEC in Algeria and execution of legal duties• Cashflow and bookeeping• Analysis of cashflow and forecast of organizational financial situation• Quarterly financial reports• MC internal management for financial matters• Responsible, with MCP, for extraordinary financial decisions• Management and coaching of LCVPs F• Responsible of Global Full Membership• Responsible for meetings with Lawyers and consultants• Responsible for exchanges legal situation.

The MCVP F/L is responsible for the general financial and legal administrationof AIESEC in Algeria.

Their role is both internal and external:they must provide the National Plenary with wide knowledge of this field,

build strategies to capitalize on it, and represent AIESEC Algeria towards our stakeholders in terms of financial and legal management in Algeria.

Outgoing Exchange

• Delivering of OGX strategy with LCVPs OGX team• Coaching and Management of the national OGX team• Innovation and process optimization• Mapping, together with OD, LCs’ contribution to the national plan• Execution of international strategies• Implementation of MENA cooperation projects• Data analysis and strategy creation with OD and MKT based on organizational evolution and market penetration.

MCVP OGX is responsible to drive the programmes’ growth by presenting and executing the most advanced strategies for the national goals.

They’re responsible as well for the international strategy and the cooperation with different AIESEC entities.

Incoming Exchange


RESPONSIBILITIES

• Delivering of ICX strategy with LCVPs ICX team• Coaching and Management of the national ICX team• Innovation and process optimization• Mapping, together with OD, LC contribution to national plan• Execution of international strategies• Data analysis and strategy creation with OD and MKT based on organizational evolution and market penetration• Synergy with PR to boost the programmes• Collaboration with BD to implement strategies for iGIP• Creation, with OD and MKT, of Project Portfolio for the Local Level• Contrbution in packaging the ICX for corporate sponsorhip.

MCVP ICX is responsible of driving the programmes’ growth by presenting and executing the most advanced strategies for the area.

They should also implement international strategy for cooperation with different AIESEC entities.

Moreover, they're responsible of analysing all the national issues and create the projects that impact the most the Algerian society.

Marketing


RESPONSIBILITIES

• Execution of brand positioning strategy• Implementation of national strategies on local level• OGX + TM attraction campaign• OGX + TM coversion and promoters strategy• Create and implement Digital Marketing framework for AIESEC in Algeria• Endomarketing using MC Algeria channels to motivate the National Plenary• ICX marketing strategy delivery• Participation to relevant national events to position AIESEC brand• Media coverage of AIESEC activities• Media appereances on newspapers, radio and television• Online and offline content creation

MCVP MKT is responsible of creating and delivering the brand positioning strategy through our online channels and LCVPs MKT management for national alignment.

The brand positioning is guarenteed by co-branding activities, contact with media, organizations of national events and participations to other events

as partner, speaker or delegate.

MCVP MKT is in charge of the brand strategy execution.

Business Developement


RESPONSIBILITIES

• Creation and update of National Product Portfolio• Ensure delivery of all the MC partnerships• Responsible of keeping contacts with AI for downscaling international partnerships• Attendance to corporate events• Creation of partnerships for national iGIP• Synergy with MKT department for showcasing national partnerships

MCVP BD is responsible for the financial sustainability of the MC.

With the creation and delivery of a national product portfolio, the BD ensures growth in all our programmes, execution of national partnerships and high quality standards to our partners.
