Dear applicant,By reading this you have taken the rst step to consider applying for MCP.

In a couple of weeks you could be selected as the MCP of AIESEC in Kazakhstan for the term of2016-2017!

Being an MCP is a huge responsibility. You will lead an an entire country; every decision you makewill inuence the future of our organization and you need to be able to deal with consequences and

adapt to an ever changing environment. It is also a challenge. You will learn, grow as a person and develop yourself professionally.

Most of all, it is a privilege. You will get the chance to work with extremely talented people, travel,explore, grow and create impact.

This is your chance to make a real change. This is a chance for you to make a difference in people's lives. This is a chance to change AIESEC in Kazakhstan, to AIESEC for Kazakhstan!

When reading this, you might think:Why me? Could I be the one fullling this role?

OrI would like to but I really need to go and nd a job..But the question is not why, the question is why not?

Can you name one good reason not to apply? Does this reason really matter?When you look back at your life, you will only regret the things you did not do.

Strategy and operations management-Continuing the implementation and execution process of the national vision, ensuring

that the long term goals will be achieved and the membership's connection to it.-Implementing ideas from the international network, aligning the national direction with

global plans and strategies-Delivering national strategic planning and tracking, follow up operations and goal

achievement-Dening the role of the LCP team, NST and MC VPs in delivery of yearly Measurements

of Success and managing these teams accordingly-Ensuring the national and local operations' alignment

TimelineAs MCP you will ofcially start your term on the 1st of July 2016. However, once you are

selected you will already have a number of responsibilities. This mainly involves selecting theMC team and representing AIESEC in Kazakhstan on the International Presidents Meeting.

Next to that you will already start MCP transition on a part-time basis.From the 1st of June MC transition will ofcially start and you will be expected to be available

full-time for AIESEC. You term will ofcially end your term on the 30th of June2017.

The MC Ofce is currently localed in Turan University, 16-18 Satpaev, Almaty. It is a 20 minute walk from the MC Flat, located on 47 Markov Street Almaty.

Almaty is the Financial Capital of Central Asia and Kazakhstan's biggest city. As a member of the MC team you are expected to move to Almaty and into the MC at during your term.

Application procedure

STEP 1. Application Package

The following are required for the application:1. All Questionnaire Parts are required to be lled in;

2. CV (maximum two pages, highlighting your academic and non-AIESEC experience); 3. Three Endorsements Letters

a. One must be from your team leader (for example, If you were LCP, endorsement must be from MCP);

b. Second one from your teammate or team member;c. third one must be external from AIESEC;

4. A Video (maximum 4 mins video showcasing who you are and general facts about you); The deadline for the MCP application is .1st of November 23:59 GMT.

Late submissions will not be accepted. Please make sure that all documents are in PDF format and zip them all into one.

Applications should be sent to before the deadline. [email protected] will receive a conrmation of receipt within twelve hours of the deadline.

STEP 2. Interview and Selection

After the deadline we will contact you to schedule an interview between 2-4th of November.You will need to go through two interviews. One with MC team and one with externals

During the interviews you will be assessed on:- Motivation

- Organizational understanding & vision- CORE competencies

- Analytical skillsBelow you will nd the relevant CORE competencies which can be used for preparing your

interviews.

STEP 3. General Membership Election

General Membership Election – National Congress, Astana 6-10 November

MCP Candidates residing in Kazakhstan or Kyrgyzstan are required to be physically present at the election in Astana;

Election process:Program presentation (10mins);

General Questions and answers (20 mins); Specic LC Q&A round (per LC 20 mins);

Motivational speech (3 mins);Voting;

Announcement;If you will not be attending the elections physically it is recommended that you record your speech in advance. This can be either in video or audio form. This speech can be

a maximum of ten minutes; any additional time will be cut when presented to the plenary. After the Q&A, you will be given the option of giving a 2-

minute closing speech; this is not mandatory, and may be pre-recorded or delivered live. If you wish to submit videos/audios, please send them with your application. Note: Since

videos can take long to upload, you may send your application rst, and then send a separate email for your speeches. Since the speech is not part of the application, you

do not have to submit it before the deadline. If we do not have it before the elections begin, you will then simply deliver your speech live, but it will most likely be audio only.
