• In 2008, With the support of AIESEC in Germany, AIESEC in Iran was officially established after the Islamic Revolution of 1997. They start operations and ran the first career fair.

• In 2009, The first LCP of AIESEC University of Tehran was elected. • Since 2011, MC started to focus on exchange programs, GCDP start to boom

and we had Discover Iran project. 2014, AIESEC in Iran saw a 130% financial growth.

• In 2015, AIESEC in Iran continue focusing on exchange programs, member leadership development and expand AIESEC in more universities and cities.

Transition Individual transition will start from the point of election until May.

All selected MC members are required to be in Tehran in the 3rd week of May for physical transition.

Working Hours MC works daily between 10 AM to 6 PM, from Saturday to Wednesday.

Office and Accommodation MC has a rental office near University of Tehran. All MC members must come with their own laptops.

Accommodation for International MC will be covered by salary. But MCP 1617 can decide to change.

Salary Current:

• For Local: 7,000,000 Rials (around $225)

• For International: 11,000,000 Rials (around $350)

MC 1617 can decide MC salary based on reality.

Visa For International MC members, you can apply:

• Tourist Visa first, after arriving changed to Working Visa.

• Business Visa.

• Student Visa through Persian Language Institute.

Holiday 2-weeks holiday for Persian new year (March to April)

Every MC Member can have 10-days ask for leave.

MC Team Management

• Final responsible for AIESEC in Iran Member Committee team 2016-2017.

• Responsible for MC planning process and its alignment with the national direction.

• manage and track team performance on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis.

Governance and Legality

• Management of legislative process

• ensuring compliance with compendium

External & Internal Representation

• Acting as the spokesperson for AIESEC in Iran

• Representing AIESEC in Iran at external events.

• Representing AIESEC in Iran to global network.

• Building international cooperation with entities and AI.

• Reporting to and communicate with Board of Advisers and Alumni Board.

Finance

• forming and managing the budget

• analyzing financial data and using to ensure optimal financial management

Responsibility after Selection: • The MCP-elect will be required to begin

transition immediately. This is a substantial commitment. It includes VP selection, visa processes for international VPs, functional transition, history, and more.

• A minimum expectation is 20-25 hours a week are expected if you are selected, but it is strongly advised that you begin your transition full-time as soon as possible.

• The MCP elect must also attend International President’s Meeting (IPM) in Morocco from around the beginning of February 2016.The MCP elect shall also be required to start the physical transition in Tehran on April 1st, 2016.

• Be full time for your term since July 2016 to June 2017.
