Question 3: What kind of media institution might distribute your media product and why? I would get the Bauer Media Group to publish my magazine as I believe that it has a wide variety of audience and my magazine fits in with some of the magazine they already publish and would open the Bauer Media Group up to a completely new type of audience. Bauer publish ‘Q’ magazine and also Kerrang! These are two magazines that have a stronghold in the music magazine industry and dominate the market in terms of share of sales. So I believe that if I choose to publish with them they will give my magazine status and help sales. Publishing - Magazine publishing is made up of a variety of activities; in a variety of formats and variations; the main aim and objective being giving information to the public and making it available, in any way. Distribution - This is the last stage of the process. The preparation has been completed, they have been printed and proof red, they will then be sent out to a variety of warehouses nationwide and further distributed to stores which will then sell them to the general public.
