Planning and installation
Injecting micro cables and mini cablesREHAU micro cable ducts can be injected into cable ducts using air blowing equipment.The blowing device manufacturer’s instructions for use are to be heeded when doing so.
Insertion of micro cable ductsREHAU micro cable ducts can be inserted into cable ducts. To do this, we recommend fastening the micro cable ducts to a draw rope using a tight clamping device.
During this process, the following are the max. permissible tensile forces to be applied to RAU-PE micro cable ducts:

Direct installation in the groundDirect installation in the ground in sand 0/2 is generally possible.When doing this, it is to be ensured that rougher soil particles cannot migrate to contact the micro cable ducts. The risk of bite damage from rodents is also to be considered.
Injection of glass fibre and micro cables (EPFU)Glass fibre, glass fibre bundles and micro cables (EPFU) can be injected into REHAU micro cable ducts using conventional injection devices.The device manufacturer’s operating instructions are to be observed when doing so.
Storage and transportPoint loads and also contact with sharp objects are to be avoided during storage and transport.Drums are to be stored in such a way that the load is absorbed exclusivelyby the flange of the drum.
REHAU RAU-PE micro cable ducts are UV-stabilised and can be stored out-doors in Central Europe for up to a year.
Direct sunlight as well as heating to above 35 °C should however be avoided, as the micro cable duct reels can assume an oval shape under their own weight.
