    Calendar works with Google Calendar web-based service for creating and managing events, meetings, and

    appointments.

    When you first set up your phone, you configured it to use an existing Google Account, or you created a new

    account. The first time you open the Calendar application on your phone, it displays any existing calendar events

    from your Google Account on the web.

    To create an event:

    Open you calendar by either tapping on the Google Calendar widget

    on your homescreen or launch Calendar application fromApplications tray

    Press Menu to get Calendar options2.

    Touch New Event to open the Event details screen. You can also touch & hold a spot in Day, Week, or Monthview to open a menu where you can touchNewEvent, to open the Event details screen with that day andtime pre-entered. Touch "Today" icon to move attention to the current day.

    Add details about the event. Tap in a text box for the keyboard to enter a name, time, and optional additionalevents about the event, just as you do in Google Calendar on the web. Any contacts from your establishedGmail, Enterprise and Social Networking accounts can be searched to contact for an event. If you have morethan one calendar, you can choose the calendar you want to add the event to.

    You can touch the X button or press Menu > Add reminders to add additional reminders

    Press Menu and touch Show extra options to add additional details about the event.6.

    Scroll to the bottom of the Event details screen and touch Save. The event is added to your calendar.7.
