Our LC takes part in 2 National Campaigns: Just Raise it Campaign ( 1st of Oct – 1st Dec 2012) Best LIC Campaign ( 1st of October- 18th of November). Dnipropetrovs’k as a city has a huge potential for raising not only

EPs and TNs, but partners as well. We will see what we can raise during 2 months.

Hot time in AIESEC is already started! Presentations, raising, matching, promotion.. . It feels like we are strong enough to fight each moment we faced up with problems. But to tell the truth we do not mention that we are doing something unbelievable. Just all the best for our LC.

“ May the fourth be with us”.

LM Sunday, on 30th of September we had

legislations. The outcome of it is full of changes. 7 newbies were accepted to organization and now can be officialy called members. Congrats!

VP Comm and VP Fin&Legality who lead directions in Q3 were discharged and we’ve got new position VP Comm,Fin&Leg which was covered by Kate Avramenko. Congrats Kate! I believe you will bring positive changes to our LC!

We had one application to alumni from Valeria Vakha, but unfortunately she didn’t become an alumna. I wish Lera not to give up and prove that she deserve this status. We all must remember that alumni is an honorable status which is given to person according to results achieved.

Welcome to our world! You know why you are here. Right people on right place. Congrats!

From Freshman. Communications

If you are not in AIESEC, it will join you! I’ve learnt this rule once and AIESEC opened its door for me for the second time. My term has only just begun and it’s not a challenge, it’s time to make personal impact in development of our committee.

Slowly but never coming back, working hard and doing all the best, we will aware society about who we are and what we really work for.

Talking about online promotion of our ‘just-started’ projects, we have official page http://vk.com/id173474908 and official group http://vk.com/aiesec_dnipro . We have decide to concentrate our work on delivering of clear information to our externals using new pages. Also do not forget to follow our internal group http://vk.com/lc_dnepropetrovsk where you can check pictures from conferences and events.

From IC GIP As you know from the August Newsletter, 2 GIP TNs have been raised, so I’m trying to find good

interns for them Also, one more GIP TN is raised in September. So, we need to raise 4 TNs up to the end of the

term and realize 7 TNs. It can be difficult but it can be done! I believe in it, and can prove by something we have already done.

Also, on the edge of August and beginning of September I was in UAE where I had a meeting with AIESEC Dubai and a part of MC UAE. Guys and girls are very open-minded, cheerful, bright, kind.

We shared experience not only in exchange, but also in other direction: raising GIP TNs, GCDP TNs, how engage people in AIESEC, how they open new LC, how work with partners and which problems they have. It were very useful and interesting meeting.

Page 11: Monthly Newsletter #3_LC Dnipro

They have another meeting with all LC and alumni through a day but I must go out and couldn’t be presented on it. Oh, I forgot something. I were surprised by one fact. Up to 70% of members are Indians in AIESEC UAE. So, it’s good that AIESEC Ukraine is really AIESEC of Ukrainians ;)

So, tomorrow we will have a new day, a new month and a new quarterly plan. And I will do everything in my power to carry it out. I also wish you to have a successful month. See you!

From OGX Hey, AIESEC! There are some news in OGX direction. So, first, Po3 is already finished, but unfortunately not very

successfully. Thought in the middle of autumn the new wave of social OGX project has started. “Enjoy the world” is something new for LC Dnipropetrovs’k, because starting from this project, we

will try the new tactics of selling our internships. Hope it will work successfully. Our newbie, Anna Pakholchuk, is leading this project. Her team is not big, but, as you might know,

for OGX motivation is the most important point in getting high results. So, we are working on it! This winter we will have 2 GIP projects: Educate the World, project for people, who are interested to work as teachers and trainers

professionally. Ping the World is for IT people. We also got some national cooperation with other countries for both of these projects, so it means

that in these countries you can go more easily: EtW – Turkey. PtW – India, China, Germany, Belgium.

Interns Talk

Amazing Internship in Dnipropetrovsk Intern from mainland China, Mou Yunfei I had heard a lot about Iveta long before I met her in person.

The girl from Czech Republic took a BUS to Dnipro!! Exhausted from taking two flights to fly here, I could hardly imagine how she managed to survive the trip!

The first time I met her was in Grand Plaza. She was very polite, sweet and tender. I was immediately fascinated by her British accent and gentle voice. First meet gave me plenty of chances to know very well about her country and her change after joining the EU.

She is so calm that she can always make me very comfortable. Hünkar and I both fell in love with her beautiful voice, especially when saying “pardon”. Deep communications made me understand that her patient personality might have something to do with her gap year experience in Ireland.

Page 15: Monthly Newsletter #3_LC Dnipro

She worked as a nanny for a whole year living with a family and taking good care of the baby. Maybe that’s why she was a natural teacher. She did a good job in encouraging students and guiding them. I personally once had the honor to be her student in ice-skating. She was very modest saying that she was just so-so at skating. But when we skated in an ice-ring in MOCT, she was like a skating queen. She looked so free when skating. However, it was my first time to try skating. I could hardly move without the help of touching the wall. Iveta gently held my hands and guided me to skate for some rounds, during which she constantly

encouraged me and praised me doing a good job. She made me feel safe and confident!! It is so nice to meet Iveta in Dnipro. Besides, other EPs and @ers here are also very nice and amazing. I enjoyed sharing movies with Hünkar, knowing the interesting experiences from Sveta and getting help from Lyala, Lisa, Basha and so on. Most importantly, I am really grateful to my host families, Masha and Tanya. They both gave me love and warmth as a mother and friend at a foreign country, making me feel at home. Thank you all!!!!
