Parish Council - There will be a parish council meeting on Saturday, September 19 following the 4:00 PM Mass.
Potato Bar - The parish would like to sponsor a Loaded Baked Potato Bar again this year to help fund the Newman Center's 2016 spring break mission trip to Moore, OK. It is scheduled for September 26 from 4:30 - 7 PM and September 27 from 10:15 - 11:30 AM in the parish hall. Donations will be graciously accepted. Signup sheets to sponsor food and supplies are on the window by the office.
Youth Altar Servers' Training - Altar Server Training will be Saturday, October 17. All youth boys and girls (i.e., third graders through seniors in high school) who are Catholic and have received their First Holy Communion, sign up to be a Youth Altar Server. There is a signup sheet on the office door. God Bless you!
Dishes - Dishes have been left from different functions and are in the church hall. Please claim your dishes today.
Newman Center Meals - Thank you for your support of the Newman Center! The signup sheet to provide a meal is on the window next to the officer but there are only a few openings still available. Feel free to call Marcia at the church at 467-4855 with questions.

All Adults of St. Luke's - You are invited to join us for Adult Bible Study beginning September 13th during CCD class times. We will study the Gospel of John and cost for a workbook is $15.

Healing Mass - There will be a healing Mass at St. Luke’s will be Friday, September 18. Confession and Eucharistic Adoration begin at 6:00 PM, Mass will be celebrated at 7:00 PM followed by the opportunity for individual prayers for physical, emotional and spiritual needs for yourself or someone else. A time for food and fellowship is available in the church hall. Come feel the energy and healing touch of the Holy Spirit through the Mass and prayers.

Chance For The Youth of St. Luke's To Have Fun and Praise God! - It is almost time for our youth choir, Singspiration, to start up again. Singspiration is open to girls and boys right up through High School. This year, we will practice one night each week for the three weeks before we sing, depending on parent preferences. We will still sing on the first Sunday of the month. Please e-mail Ann Dwyer at [email protected] if your child would like to be a part of this music ministry, Please include your child's name, grade, and the best practice weeknight(s) (except Thursday) for you and your child. Thank you.
Accompanist Needed - Our St. Luke's youth choir, Singspiration, will get going again after school starts. We need an accompanist - keyboard, guitar, or whatever. We practice on Wednesday evening and sing on the first Sunday of the month. If you can help our young singers out please contact Ann at 309-208-8179. Thank you.
Wake Up The World - The Wake Up The World Conference will be Sept. 18-19, 2015 at the Spalding Center. Come
to learn about the Consecrated Life and experience its joy. There will be talks and activities for all ages. Friday morning and afternoon will be for middle school and high school students. Youth Rally 2015: Mercy - Our teens are going to get a jump start at experiencing the upcoming Jubilee Year of
Mercy. Our special guest speaker will be world renowned chastity speaker Jason Evert. Music will be performed by the talented Matt Faley. Youth Rally will only be open to current High School Youth this year (no 8th graders). It will take place on Saturday November 14th 2015 from 12pm-8pm at Spalding Pastoral Center.
