Educational technology as a subject made me aware of the use of technology tools in instruction ranging from the traditional to the modern.

Education Technology refers to an area of technology devoted to the development and application of tools intended to promote education.

What is Educational Technology?

THE ROLE OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY IN EDUCATION

The first thing that I noticed in this subject is that Information Technology plays important role in Education.It helps students to form a creative and productive approach.

Information Technology is the application of computer and telecommunications equipment to restore, retrieve, transmit and manipulate data.

What is Information Technology?

It replaces the old ways with better ways.

With the use of Information Technology it makes the lesson more interactive.

It’s collaborative and cooperative learning.

Collaborative learning is a method of teaching and learning in which students team together to explore a significant question or create a meaningful project.

In cooperative learning, They are individually accountable for their work, and the work of the group as a whole is also assessed. Cooperative groups work face-to-face and learn to work as a team.

With the help of internet we can access lots of information around the world.

It enables to access in different information

It contribute a big help to the students and teachers.

Moreover audio-visual presentation, wide-screen televisions, projectors can be used for improving the delivery of instruction to actually improve learning and increasing the comprehension level among the students

Makes education enjoyable

The involving technology in the educational process makes education more enjoyable both for the instructors and the learners.

LEARNING THROUGH ED TECH 2

I definitely learned a lot in our Educational Technology subject.But Ed Tech is not all about the technological gadgets and their use as instructional aids. It is about powerful learning.

A students aiming to become future educator I had to go through reporting in our subjects.

REPORTINGI am able to use not only traditional visual aids in my reports, but also modern ways of presentation such as the PowerPoint and some electronic resources.

Of course, I simply do our written assignments, written report s and exercises.
