Today's highly competitive job market presents challenges for everyone seek-ing employment. Recent graduates and seasoned professionals alike encounter limited opportunities. After submitting a resume and cover letter, these job seekers sometimes do not get a reply from prospective employers. This is discouraging, but not a surprise when employers often receive hundreds of resumes for every job posted.
The tight job market can be espe-cially hard on job seekers with 15 or more years of work experience. As they look through posted jobs, they often find entry-level openings that require less education or experience than they have accumulated. Georgia Sports Hall of FameThe Georgia Sports Hall of Fame and Museum in Macon, Ga., is the country’s largest state sports museum. The 43,000 square feet state-of-the-art museum houses over 3,000 artifacts. From the old style ticket booths to the brick columns in the rotunda and special lighting, the museum invites visitors to experience the history of sports in Georgia with more than 14,000 square feet of high-energy exhibit space and a Hall of Fame corridor that honors over 300 inductees, including Ty Cobb, Jackie Robinson, Bobby Jones, Evander Holyfield and Nancy Lopez.

F.D. Roosevelt State ParkAt 9,049 acres, Georgia’s largest state park is a hiker’s and back-packer’s haven. More than 40 miles of trails, including the pop-ular 23-mile Pine Mountain Trail, wind through hardwood and pines, over creeks and past small waterfalls. Mexican Whole Wheat Snack WrapsPrep Time: 10 minutes / Start to Finish: 1 hourMakes 8 wraps 2 packets (1.25 ounces each) Taco Seasoning Mix, divided 1 cup mayonnaise 4 frozen hamburger patties (4 to 6 ounces each), thawed 1 cup water 8 8-inch Whole Wheat Soft Tortillas 1 large tomato, sliced 1 cup shredded lettuce 1 cup (4 ounces) shredded cheddar cheese Taco Sauce, any varietyCombine 1 packet seasoning mix and mayonnaise; mix well. Set aside.
Place hamburger patties in small casserole dish. Combine water and remaining 1 packet seasoning mix; pour over hamburg-ers. Cover; marinate in refrigerator 30 minutes.
Preheat grill until piping hot, about 15 minutes. Remove meat from marinade; discard marinade.
Place on grill; cook to desired doneness. Remove from grill; cut hamburgers in half.
Spread taco mayonnaise on tortillas. Place 1 hamburger half on top half of each tortilla. Add tomato, lettuce and cheese. Fold bottom half of tortilla over filling; fold sides toward center, leaving top open. In second medium bowl, stir together tomatoes, salsa and taco sauce.
Preheat oven to 400°F. In a deep 9 x 13-inch baking dish, spread one-quarter of
sauce on bottom of dish. Place layer of corn taco shells into pan. Top with one-half of ricotta mixture, one-half ground beef, 1 cup shredded cheese, one-quarter sauce, and another tortilla.
Repeat layers with remaining ingredients. Top final layer with shells, sauce and cheese.
Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes. Remove foil and bake an additional 15 minutes. Remove from oven and let stand 10 minutes before slicing. Serve hot, garnished with fresh cilantro.

New Piedmont Newnan opens TuesdayPiedmont Newnan Hospital
officially opens Tuesday at its new campus at 745 Poplar Road.
But before that can happen the aging facility on Hospital Road must be officially closed.
It’s not a process that hap-pens with the flip of a switch or wave of a magic wand. Moving from the old facility to the new is actually a balanc-ing act that requires keeping both facilities open for more than a week as people, equip-ment and procedures under-go a transition that allows no room for error.
It’s not a process anyone takes lightly. But, so far, the procedure is going smoothly
and remarks from hospital officials make it clear they are ready to officially celebrate the opening of Georgia’s new-est hospital on Tuesday at 745 Poplar Road beside Interstate 85.
“We’ve waited a long time to be able to welcome patients to their new community hos-pital,” said Tim Stack, presi-dent and CEO of Piedmont
Healthcare. “We’re proud of the new facility and the expanded services we offer residents of Coweta County a n d t h e surround-ing areas. The open-i n g o f t h e n e w Piedmont Newnan Hospital is para-mount to our vision of provid-ing comprehensive, quality health care services across the Piedmont Healthcare system.”
The final days of joint oper-ation between the two facili-ties are scheduled down to the minute to make sure that essential services offered at Hospital Road remain in place until those services are

3. When Dining Out, Go Dutch. When you’re out on the town try splitting a meal with a friend. Most restaurants serve por-tions that far exceed our dietary requirements for a single meal. sharing food minimizes the chance you’ll overeat.
4. Wake and Weigh.“set a goal to step on the scale at the same time each week,” says Walker. “sticking to a routine will help keep you accountable,
making it easier to track your progress.”
5. Drink More Water.thirst is often mistaken for hun-ger. According to the Mayo Clinic, men should drink roughly 3 liters of water each day (13 cups) and women should drink 2.2 liters (9 cups). Create the habit of drinking a glass of water before each meal to avoid over-eating.
6. Go Green.Make a sincere effort to add something green to all of your meals. Dark, leafy greens are full of fiber, which is proven to help you feel fuller longer. Greens such as spinach and kale are also packed with important vitamins, minerals and disease-fighting phytochemicals.
7. Don’t Call it a Workout, Call it Fun.instead of associating your work-out with “work,” channel your positive energy and make your exercise time pleasurable. Walker recommends working out to your favorite tunes and trying fun,
non-conventional ways to burn calories like dancing, jumping rope or doing squats while brush-ing your teeth in the morning.
8. Slip into Something Less Comfortable.Ditch the sweatpants and opt for something that makes you feel amazing. studies show that you’re less likely to overeat if you feel confident.
9. Don’t Subtract, Just Add.instead of focusing on foods you have to subtract from your diet, focus on the foods that can
always be added, like fiber-rich fruits and vegetables. try new combinations of wholesome foods. you may be surprised by how much you enjoy flavorful, seasonal produce in some of your favorite dishes, such as vegetar-ian lasagna.
10. Early to Bed, Early to Rise.According to the National sleep Foundation, short sleep duration is linked with an increase in body mass index due to an increased appetite caused by sleep deprivation.
