Rating: A = Always, S = Sometimes, N = Never A S N QUESTIONS ABOUT YOURSELF Do you make sure that the group’s objectives in the decision-making process are clear from the start? Do you seek out information from a variety of people and sources to make decisions? Do you frame issues in a way that encourages the exploration of multiple solutions? Do you make sure that any minority viewpoints are considered in group discussions? Do you use reliable data and statistics to support your alternatives? Do you involve knowledgeable outsiders to participate in group discussions to provide insights? Do you encourage team members to step out of their familiar roles when generating alternatives? Do you facilitate open, constructive dialogue? Do you ask probing, open-ended questions to promote understanding and the creation of new alternatives?
