Ms. Taylor is the section's first president, and started in the Atlanta Regional Section working on

several committees and served as 1st Vice President and Chair of several Committees upon transferring to the DeKalb Section. In all, Rhonda has been an active member of the NCNW for over 23 years.

The purpose of the NCNW organization is to be an "umbrella of organizations that would represent the national and international concerns of black women." The Education Committee of the NCNW of Valdosta-Lowndes donated school supplies on May 10th to Lomax Pinevale Elementary School on Howell Road. This initiative was supported by both the education committee within the organization and NCNW members who donated school supplies & monetary contributions to make the school supply initiative a success. Meanwhile: The DeKalb Section of the National Council of Negro Women hosted its Signature Tea on June 8, 12 – 3 p.m., at Greater Travelers Rest Baptist Church, Decatur. It was a beautiful afternoon of tea, great catering, awesome music Mr. Dancil & Miss Prudent. Let's not forget our one and only Hank Stewart Poet II with "IT", last but not least the ladies of NCNW DeKalb Section planned and executed their programme with finesse. THANK YOU!
