COMPANY HISTORY

Ken’s Marine Service, Inc. has been serving the New York /

New Jersey Tri-State maritime community as well as Bayonne and

Hudson County and the five boroughs of New York City for over

twenty-five years.

We offer a wide range of services available to our clients

from oil spill cleanups to underground tank removals. Our

equipment and personnel are available 24 hours a day / 7 days a

week for whatever situation may occur.

Our main office is located at 117 East 22nd

Street in Bayonne

NJ and is right across the street from our Maintenance facility

located at 116 East 22nd

Street. We also have an office at East 5th

Street located in IMTT in Bayonne.

Ken’s Marine Service has been in the oil spill response business for

over twenty-five years. Whether it is a spill from a land site remediation to

an accidental discharge from a ship or barge into the harbor, Ken’s Marine

can handle your situation with professional and experienced manpower and

equipment. All our employees are haz-mat certified and are experienced in

all type of spill situations. We own and maintain all the necessary equipment

that would be required to properly and efficiently cleanup any type of spill.

Bayonne Lineboat Service, Inc. a division of Ken’s Marine Service,

Performs the Linehandling duties at all the terminals, refineries and facilities

in New York Harbor. This is a 24 hour a day / 7 day a week operation. We

have a highly experienced crew in tie-ups and let goes of all type of vessels

and barges. Some of our terminal clients include Amerada Hess Bayonne

and Port Reading, Gordons, Conoco Phillips at Bayway and Tremley Point,

KMI Carteret and OB, Motiva Sewaren and the NYC Passenger Ship

Ken’s Booming & Boat Service provides 24 hour a day / 7 days a

week booming service for our clients and their terminals and facilities. We

have a trained staff of employees experienced in all facets of oil containment

closures. We specialize in small business and residential tank services. We

handle tank removal and permitting. We provide sub surface evaluation and

HAZARDOUS MATERIAL RESPONSE UNIT

Ken’s Marine Service has a state of the art haz-mat response unit. The vehicle is

equipment with all the necessary tools and supplies that might be required for a haz-mat

response. Our response team is fully qualified and haz-mat trained to handle any incident

that may occur.

MARINE HAZ-MAT RESPONSE TEAM

Ken’s Marine Service has experienced haz-mat trained personnel on call twenty-

four hours a day to respond to any maritime haz-mat response. We have a BOA contract

with U.S.C.G. to provide service in the New York Harbor. Other clients include the U.S.

Navy, DEP, EPA, various power generating stations and our ship and barge clients. We

can respond to a wide range of emergency situations, such as floating drum and cylinder

recoveries, chemical leaks from vessels & IMO Containers, shoreline and outfall leaks

HAZ-MAT & SAFETY TRAINING CLASSES &

MODULES

Ken’s Marine offers a wide variety of HAZ-MAT and Safety Training Classes and

Modules to accommodate our clients’ needs. We have Certified Environmental Trainers and

Instructors on staff providing professional and up to date training. We can custom tailor a course

1. – Training & Facility PREP Drills to augment Facility Spill Response Agreement Services.

2. – OSHA HAZWOPER Emergency Response Training geared towards Power Station, Marine,

Aviation, trucking & Rail Personnel

Customized OSHA Training based on the level of exposure and job duties.

3. – OSHA 29 CFR 1910.120 – HAZWOPER Response Levels of Training.

Level I First Responder – Awareness Level = 4 hours

Level II First Responder – Operations Level = 8 hours*

*Includes one – 2 hour field exercise

Level III Hazardous Material Technician Level = 24 or 40 hour
