On uesday, April 15, Selkirk Wilderness Skiing Limited willclose for its thirty-ninth season on Meadow Mountain. Te signs,which have been in place since mid-December, will be removedApril 15, except for signage restricting access throughout andaround the lodge site. Tis winter marks the thirty-ninth anni-

versary of the Meadow Mountain Signage Plan: a community andgovernment sanctioned agreement which provides a legal closureof the skiing terrain tendered to Selkirk Wilderness by the Prov-ince of British Columbia. Over the past three months we havereceived good cooperation from local snowmobilers, skiers, andsnowboarders. Te compliance with the signs has been greatly ap-preciated; it is critical to our continued operation and to the safety

of our guests and of public users of Meadow Mountain. We hopethat our remaining few weeks of operation will bring continuedsupport for the agreement.
