WC:30/04/2020 Heights New Charity Number: 1120868 Silver Bulletin Hello everyone. We hope you are all well & staying safe. Befriending Service Our new befriending services have officially started. This week we have spoken to 30 people via phone and had a lovely virtual coffee morning with 3 attendees. Our chats and yoga have made us feel extra happy and healthy this week! Our sessions will continue to be held weekly and are free to access by any members of the Kingstanding community. Please find the session details below. Monday 2pm-3pm: 1:1 befriending (phone call / instant messenger / text) Wednesday 1.30pm-2pm: Chill, Chat & Coffee - Virtual coffee morning with a 15 minute easy exercise session. Link to be posted on Facebook by 5pm every Tuesday or can be emailed to attendees on request. Friday 11am-12pm: Ask us anything live Chat via Facebook (information, sign posting, etc). Birmingham Mind Mental Health Helpline New Heights Wellbeing Resources Check out our new wellbeing website page for downloadable wellbeing resources, partner agency information and wellbeing videos. In a time of so many uncertainties, we all need a little extra support. Birmingham mind has launched a mental health helpline offering emotional wellbeing and support and Covid-19 counselling to Birmingham residents. If you are finding yourself feeling overwhelmed or worried, please call the number on the flyer to speak to one of their trained helpline workers.
