Maison & Objet’s 20th anniversary show adapts a fitting theme “Wild”, inviting all definitions of the word and its role in art and design. With the launch of new pieces, and a revamped textile and wallcovering collection, KOKET channeled M&O’s “Wild” theme into Wild Obsessions.

Since the beginning, KOKET has drawn inspiration from the raw beauty of Mother Nature. Koket’s Vivre lighting collection is an example of this, using a natural agate slice as the cornerstone for an exquisite lighting design. The dark neutral tones and the exquisite patterns in the agate stones are uniquely captivating against the light and the gold metal which embraces each stone in perfect harmony and balance. Striking agate wallpaper with accents of metallic gold complete this naturally opulent look. Wild and exotic, the Divine Armoire is a personal representation of the essence of KOKET, created by Founder and Creative Director, Janet Morais. This utterly desirable double door pagoda top armoire is a combination of personal elements in one daring design. The pagoda top and cabriole legs, are pulled from cultural experience and influence, while the delicate golden ribbon handle embodies the charming innocence of a young girl. The interior is lined with antique mirror, one of Janet’s favorite materials. Perhaps the most intriguing of the elements, are the natural and individually placed, iridescent peacock feathers, a tribute to the inner exotic goddess in every woman.

As a tribute to a diamond's devastating power of enticement, KOKET created the stunning Gem table lamp to represent the journey of the gem’s rough beginnings to exquisite end. A brushed brass geometric prism surrounds a mesmerizing colored gem, blending the elegant and rugged, like a great love affair.
