WORKSHOP OVERVIEWOn Days 1 – 3, veteran Manor New Tech High School staff will deliver the three-day Think Forward PBL Institute. During these three days, participants will explore every aspect of the PBL process, from development and sequencing of data-driven projects constructed around state standards to the seamless integration of available technology in the classroom. All participants will create unique, original projects, ready for implementation next fall.
On Day 4 (required for Linked Learning Cohort 2 high schools), HISD Linked Learning staff will engage participants in using the new HUB course template to create an interdisciplinary student-face project “course.” This will allow teachers to use the HUB to co-manage their interdisciplinary project.
