Hello!

I hope everyone’s holiday season has started off wonderfully! I know I am excited for break (and for finals to be OVER!). On another note, remember to do extra awesome service this month and have some Christmas fun as a club! Plan a social or a potluck and enjoy everyone’s company during this wondrous holiday season.

Also, please promote my divisional project, the Christmas PCM, DCON, and the opportunity to become Lt. Governor!

I hope everyone has a fantastic holiday season and I’ll see you at the PCM .

-Hope Carter

Conferences for Dec Here is the agenda for conferences this month. Each president should email me a date and time that is good for a conference by the 20th of each month. If you have not emailed me by that date I will start calling. I want to have a conference with each president by the 31st of each month. I promise calls won’t last long and I just want to do this so that there is a stream of communication with all of my clubs. These contribute to Key Clubbin’ Correspondence awards (KCC Awards) so please participate.

Agenda

-How are you? -How are officers, advisors, and Kiwanis working together? -Does your club send in reports and newsletters? -Have you updated contact info. on TO website? -What fundraisers do you have for DCON? -Are you going to the PCM? -Have you turned in dues? -What are you doing to participate in the divisional project? -What are your future service project plans? -Is anyone interested in Ltg? -What can I do for you?

KIWANIS MEMBER OF THE MONTH Thank you Lt. Governor Katie Wilson for the great idea!

Randy Golden of the Northeast Kiwanis has been active in the Key Club community since High School when he was a Key Clubber! Mr. Golden has always been a great help with my projects and has helped send JECA Key Club to DCON! He also has been great about attending events . Thank you Mr. Golden!

Remember to visit your Kiwanis and talk to them frequently!

ARE YOUR DUES IN? Dues are officially past due to Key Club

International at this point so if you have not sent them in please notify me and I will make sure we get them in as soon as possible.

Unfortunately, if your club has not paid dues you cannot register for DCON or apply for any district positions until they’re paid. I do not want this to be the case so I will work with you to fix this. Congratulations to all 9 clubs that have paid! .

Project Idea: Cookie Trade

Everyone loves baking during the Holiday’s! Have a set price for people to enter, and this will be straight profit. People can bring a set number of cookies to trade within the group. There could even be a contest for the best cookie, and the fundraised money could be donated in that person’s name to ELIMINATE!

ELIMINATE Eliminate funds are due to Key Club International for Recognition by Dec. 31. Have you sent yours in?

Once you have your donations together send the check or money order to:

Kiwanis International Foundation 3636 Woodview Trace Indianapolis, IN 46268 USA ATTN: Trick-or-Treat

Remember to write your club name and number on the memo line.

Project Idea: Holiday Wrapping Paper

This is usually the last thing on everyone’s Christmas list… gift wrapping! Have volunteers from your club wrap presents for people in the community. There could be a set amount for a certain number of gifts, and could be hosted at your school!
