Monthly Newsletter of Place of Victory for All Nations
September 2011
Welcome to another month in which God‟s divine purpose and glory
will again be manifested in His Church. Firstly, we must appreciate God
for all the testimonies and for the success of all the projects, events and
outings that we have done over the summer period. God has been
faithful indeed! The success of Expo-Nations in particular was beyond
our expectations. To God be the glory! Well done for all your hard work
and commitment to the work that God has committed in to our hands.
We will not miss our reward in Jesus‟ name.
To those who have been away for the summer break, welcome back. We
have exciting and fulfilling months ahead of us. As the summer comes
to an end and we begin to sniff the cold autumn air, I have a heightened
sense of expectation and can feel a knot of excitement beginning to
develop in my belly. I sense that the Lord is about to surpass our
expectations and favour us like we have never experienced before.
We only need to be bold and of good courage. We will need to take bold
steps of faith as we come into our own as a people called by Him to
show forth His glory. The Lord will raise help for us from all over. He is
indeed our help in ages past, present help and our help in the times to
come. He reassures us with the words „Fear thou not; for I am with thee;
be not dismayed for I am thy God; I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help
thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness‟ –
Isa. 41:10. Be encouraged! Have a blessed month.

Highlights from the Mission Field
Over 160 saved; many healed; paralysed man walks in the name of Jesus and dead man raised. Our God is able!
Missionary Mandy Clarke, Bigheart Ministries whom we have been praying for as a church, shares news following her recent trip to Africa. The vision is “Sharing the Love
and Compassion of Jesus through Spiritual and Practical means, working together to bring unity and value through God's Word” Their project „Circle of Blessing‟ is based on biblical truths and its practical outworking incorporates craft teaching; bible donation; animals; memory garden; crops; bread basket teaching; bible based business
training and solutions for clean water. They believe in giving a “hand up” rather than hand outs - helping others to become self-sustaining. Bigheart works mainly with
women in rural villages and churches, however, God is also moving the ministry into the area of Preaching, Teaching and Healing. God spoke through His Word, made provision, then Mandy prepared for a journey from May to August that unlocked miracles, signs and wonders
May : Greater Love Christian Centre, Kampala Uganda, (Pr Asua Muhindo) where a ladies group has been set up. God moved powerfully during a Singles Conference, Gospel Outreach, Outdoor Crusade and All Believers Crusade with counseling sessions. Meetings were back to back but so fruitful: God‟s favour and supernatural provision
for strength and endurance flowed with many receiving a touch or Word from God. On 23rd May God brought an opportunity to release faith for an elderly man who was
paralysed in a wheelchair. He got healed in Jesus Name! On 24th, the next day, a man was brought back from the dead. He is able!
June: Gulu, Northern Uganda where Bigheart has been instrumental in birthing new churches. Greater Love Gospel Church, Burchoro, (Pr Ogwang). Many saved and healed
as the Word went forth in torrential rain - nothing can stop us hallelujah! Onto Ebenezer Community Church, Bungatira, Pr Justine‟s Church, Chope and Pr Fielda‟s Church, Pabbo where many came for prayer following a double portion of the Word during two services, then, over three and half hours of prayer for the people. Many salvations,
healings and deliverances and also a chance to sleep in a mud hut and experience real rural Africa!
July: Western Kenya to work with Pr Wugu at Christian Resource Centre, Lwandeti where another ladies group has been established. Seminars took place with Bread
Basket Teaching, lessons from the life of Esther and practical lesson on looking after the Temple of the Holy Spirit. Much joy was in the camp as we shared the message
“Bye Bye Sugar.... Hello Honey!” I also travelled to a village Church in Tongareny, 6 hours north of Lwandeti. They had been praying and fasting for my visit after hearing of the miracles in Uganda. During that meeting the Spirit told me to ask the people “can I just be myself” then a level playing field came. I ministered on the Power of the
Blood of Jesus then in the afternoon on the Power in the Name of Jesus. It was 11th July 2011, when in N. Ireland some people were lighting bonfires. I can truly tell you a
Holy Ghost Fire erupted in that place: People were getting healed in their seats, physical blind getting sight, one lady lying outside healed where she lay. The GLORY FELL!
Pastors Chris and Angela and all at Place of Victory for All Nations supported, prayed faithfully and sent encouraging messages by email. A sincere thank you! Be blessed
as you have played a part in this great work of God.
To hear a more detailed version of this trip, Mandy will be speaking on 11th September, 2011, at Place of Victory for All Nations. Mission trips are taken where resources are poured directly into the people that need it most. Those who go on trips are self-funding. Mandy has given up full time employment to follow the dream God has given
her. Bigheart is not government funded nor affiliated to any church. Since its conception in 2007, many lives have been touched. Please join hands with them and continue to
pray allowing them to equip others through their Spiritual and Practical Gospel. To find out more, play a part in this work, support the ministry or Mandy please ring 07784

GOD IS WORKING WITH THE MANY COLOURS
IN OUR LIVES.
Expo-Nations is over..... and what a wonderful event it was ! The whole exhibition
consisted of different displays from around the world. What a colourful event it turned
out to be. I was truly inspired and overwhelmed by the sheer beauty of it all.
I loved the Ulster Scots blue and white dancing attire and its reflection of a deep local
tradition. The Spanish Flamenco dancers stole the show with their red, green, yellow
and all sorts of beautiful bright colored dresses. The Jamaicans kept it real with their
red gold and green and all the Africans did not disappoint as they trooped out in multi
coloured attire -it was such a beautiful sight to behold. Without exaggeration I can say
there was a clear representation of every colour of the rainbow and much more
displayed on the day.
God is definitely the author of colours as we can see in the bible (Gen 9: 12-162) “and
God said this is the sign of the covenant I make between me and you and every living
creature that is with you, for all future generation: I have set my bow in the clouds, and
it shall be a sign of the covenant between me and the earth, when I bring clouds over
the earth and the bow is seen in the clouds. I will remember my covenant that is
between me and you and every living creature of all flesh. and the waters shall never
again become a flood to destroy all flesh".
There is something special about individual colours when contrasted against others or
just mixed together to make other colours. My favourite colour is bright orange!
However, I must admit it does not quite work on its own so I always introduce a bit of
brown to compliment it and that works quite well for me.
Colours can be symbolic in our lives. We can liken them to real life situations that we
deal with on a daily basis. The white times when all is well, the innocence of a new
born child, or the white wedding. Red symbolising, those red rosey moments of getting
that new house, new job or new car. How about the black dark times of our lives? The
tragic car accident; the grey case of a relative dying from terminal illness; the dark
black circles around the eyes of the crying woman going through heartache as she
watches her marriage crumble; the pale face of that single mother worried about
tomorrow...
I've come to the conclusion that all these colours of different tones and shades, both
light or dark, when put together, can actually form very beautiful collages. The bright
beautiful colours might have black threads running through or stand out in the
background but as( Rom 8:28) says and we know, “all things work together for good,
for those who love God and are the called according to His purpose."
God is definitely working for our good behind the scenes and so we need to trust Him.
There is one big requirement for you to claim this promise. It‟s only for those who love
God. Do you love God? Sola Adetunji Community Fellowship Addresses:

Testimony Time The scripture says that we overcome by the
blood of the lamb and the words of our
testimony. I just want to give God total
praise as I testify of His goodness in my life.
I had been struggling for settlement in the
UK since the time I arrived here from
Nigeria. I have been arrested and held in
police custody and detention camps, the last
of which began in February of this year. At a
point I was supposed to be deported, sent
back like one without hope. But by the grace
of God I have hope - hope and faith in my
Lord Jesus Christ. God delivered me, set me
free, and in the place of praise and prayer,
God showed Himself strong. I have been
given leave to remain in this country on a
basis that I never knew existed. Beloved,
God has a plan and He is always in control.
Trust Him and hold on. All will be well!!!
