From the KELC Teachers:

From the Classroom:

It’s hard to believe that we are entering November. November and December are our busier months

that are filled with lots of fun learning. This month we are visiting the Children’s Museum for our ELI

program field trip. We will be learning about community helpers while we are there, especially architects.

Children will have an opportunity to design and build during the field trip.

We also have our Thanksgiving feast coming up in a few weeks on Tuesday, November 24, which we

hope you can attend. The children will be making the food for the lunch.

In the classroom we are also talking about being thankful, being good friends, and the changes that

are occurring outside because it is fall. The teachers have also been busy gathering information to share with

you at our fall conferences about your child and their progress.

As the holidays approach, we will have a sign-up sheet for children attending during the Christmas

holidays. Please make sure to sign-up if your child will be here. We teachers also like to spend time with

family during the holidays, so this allows us to take vacation time based on what our attendance will be while

we still meet state ratios.

Have a great month, Sara, Karen, Mary, Robin, and Macie
