From Your Child’s Teacher:

From the Classroom:

August was a fun-filled month as we enjoyed many field trips. We had a fantastic day at the Lorain County Fair

petting the many different farm animals (4H-ers love to share), watching bees make honey, eating a terrific picnic

lunch, and dancing to music. To end Fair Week we had our very own bake-off and enjoyed very yummy desserts.

Both were deserving of a blue ribbon!

We also enjoyed several walking field trips around different parts of Oberlin. We walked to Gibson’s for ice

cream, to the park, and a walk in the woods to enjoy nature. These reminded us how the simplest things in life can

be the most amazing experiences through the eyes of a child. On our walk through the woods one of our children

looked at us and said, “This is the bestest day ever!”

Welcome to all of our new families and welcome back to all our returning families! We are so excited to start a

new school year with all of you!

Sara, Karen, Mary, and Robin
