the Horan & McConaty Reception Community room, 9998 Grant Street in Thornton. Admission is $3 for

members and $5 per person for non-members. You can pay your 2014 NSRF dues of $20 if you havent done

I wanted to remind you that The Reagan Club Members Meeting is this coming Thursday (June 5th at 6:00

p.m.) at Damon's in the Ramada Inn in Northglenn. The address is 10 E 120th Avenue (1 block east of I-25

on 120th Avenue).

The program features "Empowering the Grassroots"

by Andy Peth - who brings tools and motivation for

our conservative volunteers to confidently and

effectively respond to the misleading smears of the

left . . . and have a good time doing it.

We will also have a presentation by the HeritageFoundation's affiliated group, "Heritage Action for

America" by Ms. Rebekah Brown; Regional

Coordinator.

Finally, we will have Mr. Chris Brown and Ms.

Jennifer Ly updating us on the latest Oil and Gas

Industry information. Mr. Brown is the

Community Outreach Coordinator for the Colorado

Oil and Gas Association.

The program begins at 6:00 p.m., it includes dinner

and will end at 8:30 p.m..

Cost is $15.00 per Member of the Reagan Club and

for all Candidates and Guests. Non-members are

$20.00.

Thank you for your leadership and the commitment and class you are bringing to the face of the Republican

Thank you to everyone who joined us at the 2014 Commerce City Memorial Day Parade. We had the largestnumber of participants who walked with candidates, passed out literature, saluted veterans, carried banners,rode in the vehicles, prepared food for the after-parade BBQ, smiled a lot, and felt the powerful tide of

The Consensus CandidateCory Gardner unifies Colorado Republicans.

"I love to smoke, says Colorado congressman Cory Gardner, his voice trailing off. His aides eyes

widen. Finish that thought! she says.

The 39-year-old Republican lets out a distinctive belly laugh at his unfortunate pause. After all,marijuana is now legal in the state of Colorado, a fact we had just been discussing moments before Iasked Gardner to tell me something most people dont know about him.

I love to smoke food, he clarifies, adding that his wife had bought him his own Masterbuilt smoker for

Christmas. Brisket, chicken, ribs, you name it.

Thats about as far off-message as Gardners ever likely to go, and that self-discipline is part of thereason professional Washington perked up in February when the two-term House member made itknown he had changed his mind and would, indeed, challenge Democrat Mark Udall for the U.S.Senate. Those who know him say Gardner is careful and risk aversenot the type of guy to challengean incumbent senator on a whim. Gardner himself admits that he could have kept his House seat as

long as I wanted to, but he says he saw an opportunity to make the race competitive.

I have received some interesting news on this race.

California Billionaire and hedge fund manager Tom Steyer intends to spend $100 million dollars in thiselection, and has labeled Colorado as one of his principal targets.

When CNN asked his advisors what they hoped to do with this money, he answered that they hope to defeat theRepublican troglodyte brand. A troglodyte is someone who is deliberately ignorant.

This is how they see the people of Colorado.

It is a shame that Mark Udall will accept the support of someone who would look down on our state.
