What are you doing to protect your business from
the commoditization of asset management? The
most obvious answer is to place a heavy emphasis
on financial planning and advice, as they remain the
parts of the business that have yet to be replaced
by a computer.
Our unyielding belief is that every client needs and
deserves a quality financial plan, but there are
many obstacles in the way – most commonly lack of
time, lack of client engagement, and a lack of clients
to provide plans to. MoneyGuidePro® can help with
all of these.
Efficiency: There are not enough hours in the
day – and there never will be. One of the many
reasons you implemented Orion is that it improves
your efficiency and reporting capabilities.

The Power of MoneyGuidePro® and myMoneyGuide® in your practice

MoneyGuidePro’s seamless integration with
Orion Connect® enables you to create a financial
plan within minutes, and you can have a fully
developed financial plan in a few hours for most
clients. This saves you significant time and leads
to more financial plans – which result in more
revenue. Our studies show that an advisor who uses
MoneyGuidePro® to generate ten or more plans in
one year generates up to 56% more revenue than
advisors that did not. In one study, this translated to
$429,000 of additional revenue per advisor.
Power: Gone are the days of a static, printed
financial plan. Today, clients require a dynamic,
constantly up-to-date plan that keeps the client/
prospect engaged from the very first meeting. The
integration between Orion and MoneyGuidePro
allows you to provide your clients an always current
plan, but additionally lets you leverage cutting edge
client engagement tools unique to our financial
planning software:
• Health Care SMART Goal – Calculate the cost
of health care right in front of your client, with
one click! This is their #1 concern in retirement,
and the most often ignored element of a quality
financial plan.
• Social Security Maximization – Show how the
right Social Security strategy can improve a
plan’s probability of success. One click will
calculate eight Social Security strategies so that
you can select the right one for your client – and
it all happens within our software.
• Portfolio Probability Matrix – Illustrate the
least amount of risk needed to achieve your
client’s goals, and which portfolio has the
highest probability of success. This is an area
that is of critical importance given the current
market volatility.
• Play Zone® - Maximize your clients’ retirement
by letting them make adjustments to their needs,
wants and wishes – in real time! This is the
most popular feature in our software because it
personalizes the plan to the client.
• What Are You Afraid Of? – Show your client
how things beyond their control can impact
their plan, such as an untimely death, longevity,
reductions in Social Security or pensions, or an
increase in inflation. It would be better for your
client to go to this page when they read a scary
headline or have a bad dream.
• Executive Summary – Show your recommended
actions in a dynamically updated portal, and set
due dates for each action.

Get qualified, motivated, action oriented clients:
The chicken dinner seminars are a thing of the
past. It is now critical that you provide more
than just education – you must provide VALUE.
myMoneyGuide® allows you to offer scalable
financial planning to your clients and prospects at
a fraction of the time and cost you would normally
expend, and it gives you the opportunity for
exponential growth.
With myMoneyGuide, you are able to selectively
target and onboard qualified prospects using our
unique client acquisition solution. Simply invite your
prospects to one of hundreds of upcoming events,
and your prospects can begin their own financial
plan and can then share it with you for your review
in as little as 90 minutes. We transmit the plan to
your MGP license, and you can then access the plan
via Orion Connect and MoneyGuidePro®.
Leverage all of your existing marketing strategies.
myMoneyGuide helps you use all of the existing
approaches that have made you successful. You
can certainly use it to generate instant referrals,
but consider offering myMoneyGuide to your best
centers of influence, current clients without plans,
employers (as a financial wellness benefit), place a
link on your website, include a link in your blog or
electronic article, or even announce it on your radio
show. The system is completely turn-key, meaning
all you need to do is a) invite your prospects, and b)
meet with those that request a plan review.
