Astronomers got tired of watching the moon go round the earth for 24 hours, so they called it a day. But then it was dark and the moon came out again, so they called it a night. After repeating this process 7 times and realizing how draining it was, they called it a week.

Tallow Creek kids at play, Andi Burwick, Zora Holt, and Linden Holt.

Greetings from Tallow Creek!

Practicing our Play: “We practiced our Christmas play. Linden was the imp, and Andi and I were the angles. Linden hasn’t quite learned all his lines, yet. [Teacher’s note: Imagine that, first read through, and he doesn’t have it memorized. Maybe the second time he sees it...] A doll will probably be baby Jesus. Mommy or Deanna will be Mary. We practiced the part that comes after our piano solo, because we had done the first part the Monday before. What we practiced went well. Practicing our play is one of my favorite things to do at school.” ~ Zora Holt, age 9
