Have you ever wondered why you can’t simply access your project data or your Gantt Chart via your web browser? Or, do you miss special functions, such as a pro-ject dashboard in SAP ERP standard?
ORBIS easyPS is the answer to your questions. The web-based project solution based on SAP ERP, contains not only SAP project system functions but also expanded functionalities and can be operated intuitively via a web browser. ORBIS easyPS was specially developed for com-panies that have high demands on user-friendliness. The solution is based on SAP standard and can be used on any SAP system, release version ≥ Enterprise 4.7.

1. Creating a project
In SAP ERP (PSP network plan), the creation and mainte-nance of objects is very time-consuming and requires “ex-pert knowledge”. In contrast, our project solution easyPS allows you to create projects in 4 quick and easy steps by using templates. The master data maintenance across multiple objects and steps is performed in one step and the project release of all dependent objects is automatic.
2. Project dashboard
This function is not available in SAP standard, however, in easyPS you always have a complete overview of all the projects you are responsible for. A speedometer displays a graphic visualization of all costs and revenues. A traffic light is set-up as a warning system for missing of deadlines or cost deviations.

3. Network planning
Cost planning and scheduling of selected network acti-vities is rather cumbersome for large structures in the standard SAP project system. Also, acquiring components without material numbers over the network is time con-suming, especially when it comes to development projects without Bill of Materials management. In contrast, flexi-ble planning in ORBIS easyPS, by sorting and filtering the required processes, is extremely easy. Easy copy function for acquiring components without material numbers via network activity.
4. Gantt Chart
With ORBIS easyPS, it is possible to access a Gantt Chart via a web browser. In addition, time intervals (month, week, day) can be changed without requiring expert knowledge and the critical path is displayed. Furthermore, by dragging the Gantt Chart, projects can be scheduled in SAP PS and automatically entered back into the Gantt Chart. Also, PSP elements and network activities can be created in SAP PS via the Gantt Chart.
5. Cross-project resource planning
With ORBIS easyPS you always have all resources at a glance. Plan your requirements on a work station or staff level in one graphic application which is easy to maintain. The color display (green/yellow/red) lets you recognise which resources are critical and you have the option to correct this situation. Rescheduling or postponements can easily be done by drag and drop. Direct changes of work stations or staff are also possible. These functionalities are not available in the SAP ERP standard.
