COUNSELING INFORMATION

Counselors are unable to register you for a closed

(full) class or once a class has met twice.

Online classes are closed after the second day of

the semester

Schedule an appointment during the semester on

class selection for the following semester

HOW LONG IS THE ORIENTATION?

campus tour, a presentation

from GRCC counselors, and

course registration for fall

BUYING BOOKS

You can Buy or Rent textbooks

Textbooks are available 2 weeks prior to the start of the

semester

Must bring photo ID and a copy of your class schedule

You may use your financial aid to purchase your books.

WHAT IS MICHIGAN TRANSFER AGREEMENT (MTA)

?

It is designed to facilitate the transfer of

general education requirements from

community colleges to four year colleges

and universities.

MTA guarantees that classes will transfer to

participating colleges

This is a great opportunity for students to learn more about the

transfer schools they intend to transfer to or help students find a

transfer school.

You can pick up catalogs, applications and information about

scholarships. We invite over 40 schools to participate in the

event.
