ANNOUNCEMENTS • Confessions are usually heard 30 minutes before Mass on Saturdays

and from 8 a.m. on Sundays.

• Please pray for the repose of the soul of John Solar and Vincenza Licari whose anniversaries occur in July.

• Catechism is held immediately after Mass on most Sundays (except

when another event such as Benediction is scheduled). The current series of classes explains key events in Church History. The topics for this series include: the edict of Milan, Arianism, Monasticism, St. Gregory the Great, the Rise of Islam, The Holy Roman Empire, and The Greek Schism.

• A mothers’ group meeting will be held on Saturday the 6th of July at

the Church after the morning Mass. Although the focus of the group is motherhood, other ladies of the parish are invited to attend.

• On the 22nd of August, the Feast of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, 5th

year seminarians will be ordained to the Subdiaconate, the first of the Major Orders. Other seminarians will receive Minor Orders or the Clerical Tonsure. The ceremony commences at 9 a.m.
