1. Missions: Pray for Carl & Pat Whitehead, serving in Papua New Guinea with Wycliffe Bible Translators. "Dear friends, we want to thank all of you who have prayed us through this phase of the Menya translation process. We are grateful to God for helping us reach another milestone in the journey. In May, five men came to Ukarumpa to have a more intensive time doing the read-through. They worked hard each weekday. They were able to complete the read-through, apart from the last few chapters of Mark which we later did with the whole team in the village. On the last day that they were with us at Ukarumpa, we gave them the opportunity to begin learning to type on the computer. This was a special bonus for them and the four that tried it did really well and are eager to learn more. Prayer Requests: that we will be alert to catch any errors as we produce the Menya New Testament in print format; that the Menya people will be receptive to God's Word; for wisdom as we process our various options for the future." Carl and Pat are prayer partners with SEC through the EMMC Missionary Connection.
