iLookiLook really is pocket sized and powerful.
Taking the place of several conventional
magnifiers it has an adjustable range of
times 5x to 20x.
Battery operated with a 2-inch screen it is ideal for
shopping, small print and for those everyday tasks that
need a little extra magnification when required.
It is rechargeable and displays in colour, positive and
negative, embossed and split magnification modes and
comes with wrist strap and charger.
Eye-Q’s superb full colour and high contrast picture quality allows you to
read maps, print and view photographs, illustrations and three dimensional
objects. Its built-in foldable writing legs add increased flexibility making it
easy to sign cheques and write brief notes. Enhanced contrast modes
(White/Black or Black/White) can be selected for clear and

Deskmate Duo combines a flexible video magnifier camera with
a 19” high-resolution LCD monitor for excellent visibility.
Deskmate Duo is ready to go wherever you go. Setup is a snap -
just plug in and switch on! The picture can be controlled from
either the camera or the remote control. View three-
dimensional items with amazing sharpness, and see your
favourite photos in full colour!
Unclip the camera; fold the arm around the back of the screen
and the system folds flat. It will then pack into the case
(provided). The versatile rotating camera allows viewing at any
range: close-up, intermediate or distance.
A single toggle button allows the user to switch between distance
and tabletop views quickly and efficiently. Distance viewing and
self-viewing is achieved by twisting the camera. This is a simple procedure and focusing is
automatic. The remote control allows you to sit back and relax.

If you are a practical person and need versatility then the Flexmate is the answer.
Available with a 14 or 30-inch arm the Flexmate can clamp to a work desk
or be fixed to a X-Y table. The controls are easy-to-use and can be
used either on the camera or on the remote control (supplied).
Automatic focusing and many features including distance and self-
viewing make the Flexmate unique.
Interchangeable camera
The camera on the Flexmate can be interchanged with the Lynx and
the Deskmate. The unique method of transferring the signal to the
monitor means that there no wires. Just unclip the camera and plug
it into other systems and switch on. Nothing to get broken.
Maximise your resources
If you need to use a large screen magnifier for reading and writing yet still want to do practical
work like cooking, gardening, woodwork, painting or other desk tasks then the Flexmate is for
you. Have a Deskmate or Lynx and an additional 14-inch or 30-inch arm with a clamp. It is easy
to interchange the camera between systems in a few seconds. The Flexmate will connect to any

X-Y table
A separate X-Y moving table can be added to any system.
The ViewBattery or mains operated and folding flat for easy storage and transportation
the View can be used anywhere. The large 15-inch screen gives a magnification
of 4x to 70x.
The View’s camera can be tilted for distance viewing and angled to view white-
board and wall-mounted information. Self-viewing can be achieved by turning
the camera around helping the user with make-up, straightening ties etc. The
screen is fully protected when folded up.

The Poet BE is probably the best book-edge on the market.
With only 5 operating buttons it makes the Poet a dream to use.
Reading speed and volume are the only other controls. No
complicated manuals or learning processes. With an average
scan and read time of 20-30 seconds it is both fast and accurate.
The Poet BE reads magazines and newspapers easily in the latest
“human like” voices. The book-edge reads right into the binding
without breaking the spine of the book.
It can store more than 500,000 pages of text that if read one after
another would take roughly 10 years to complete. It is also fitted

TBI is the Talks Braille Interface, the free BAUM Braille driver for Talks Symbian series 60 phones.
l Central text modules: COBRA has central text modules. They can be inserted in every edit line or multiline edit file. To add
text into this module simply select it, put it onto the Windows clipboard and put the text into the COBRA text module.
l Easy scripting interface. COBRA collects all screen data via different sources (graphic driver, MSAA, Java, DOM e.g.) The
script retrieves this via one interface.
l Magnification is coming soon and will have features like font smoothing & rendering and image smoothing.

Baum produce a wide variety of high quality integrative tactile maps, signs and handrails. These
have high contrast prismatic tactile letters and clear Braille dots. There are many different formats
and layouts in a variety of designs that are robust enough to be used indoors and outdoors. Made
from selected aluminium and plastics their unique manufacture is designed for the most
challenging of environments.
Secure fitting
Letters are milled into the base plastic before being securely fastened into place.
This method of manufacture prevents anything from being easily removed
either accidently or intentionally.
Maps
Tactile maps serve two purposes both for blind people and for sighted people
so an investment in tactile maps covers all eventualities.
Signs
Signs can be a mixture of Braille and text and where graphics are available they
can be integrated as well. A typical example of this would be for a toilet door.
