CONFIRMATION MASS AT ST LUKE’S CHURCH
Let us pray for our children who are receiving the Sacrament of Confirmation on Friday 14th September at a special Mass celebrated at 6.30pm. May God Bless them and make them good Christian witnesses.
SOCIAL JUSTICE SUNDAY—We celebrate Social Justice Sunday on 30th September.
This year, the Australian Bishops’ Social Justice Statement is titled: ‘A Place to Call Home:
Making a Home for everyone in our land’.
The Statement challenges us all to confront Australia’s growing rate of homelessness and
unaffordable housing.

AVE MARIA ORGAN AND VOCAL RECITAL: The Cathedral’s annual tribute to Our Lady in honour of her birthday will be held on Sunday 10 September 2.15-3.30pm at St Mary’s Cathedral, Perth. A delightful programme featuring organ solos played by the Cathedral organists and vocal trios sung by Cathedral Cantors and soloists, including Schubert's beloved ‘Ave Maria’. Admission: free. ANOINTING OF THE SICK
Please come and avail of this Sacrament of healing on Friday, 7th September. Mass
will start at 10am with the Anointing held during Mass. This Sacrament can be
received by all who suffer from any serious illness or have grown frail due to age.
Please pass the word to anyone who would like to receive this Sacrament.
There will be opportunity for confessions before Mass and a cuppa after Mass.
PRIMARY SCHOOL YOUTH GROUP
On the 7th of September from 7-9pm in the Parish Hall all primary school aged youth are invited to attend a night full
