Wesley Faith Community: a place to belong Kia Ora. Malo e lelei. Bula Vinaka. Talofa lava. Kia Orana. Namaste. Guten Morgen. Huro. Goeiemôre. Greetings. A warm welcome to Wesley on this winter's day! If you are visiting, we are glad you are with us and invite you to join us for refreshments and conversation in the hall following the service. If you come regularly, there is also a warm invitation to stay for this time of fellowship. Today's service is being led by some of our Lay Preachers. When it is cold, we gather round a fire or heater; when it is hot, we enjoy a cold drink or refreshing swim. When we have questions, we search for answers...but sometimes, answers don't come easily. This is especially true of the hard ques- tions of life. Today, we draw parallels between the cold, and apparent barren- ness, of winter and the arid places of our lives when the heart-searching ques- tions of life and faith seem to find no answers. We will not try to draw simple conclusions in the service, but offer the opportunity to voice and sit with some of our questions.
