PIU-0430 has been designed as a universal system. In order to most easily interface the existing systems, which can differ from platform to platform, it provides the user; to activate the ready input ports as preferred, to select the protocols, to select even the data field to be processed. As well, via user friendly touch screen, the output ports can be configured according to desired format and pro-tocol in order to transmit data to interfacing systems in real time.
GYRO/INS Retrofit Solution: After long years of service, when the systems like PL-41, LSR-85, WSN-2, MINS or MK39 which lacks from accuracy and requiring inten-se repair and maintenance along with obsolescence, need to be retro-fitted with new systems such as FOGs or LRGs; the PIU-0430 provides easy interface between the new Gyro/INS and the existing legacy sys-tems with synchro, HDLC interfaces of the platform.
