Place Value Bingo Tens and Ones

Tens and Ones Bingo The aim of Tens and Ones Bingo is to be the first player to cover all the squares on a game board. The

game is suitable for 2-7 players (with 7 players, one player is the caller). If playing with less players, pile

up the calling cards in the middle and players can take turns turning one over.

You will need:

9 counters/chips for each player

1 game board each

calling cards (Set 1: Standard Form OR Set 2:Word Form OR Set 3: Place Value Form OR Set 4:

Expanded Form)

How to play:

1. Each player selects a game board and 9 counters.

2. The caller, or players in turn, randomly selects a calling card, calls out the number and places the

card face up in front of the other players.

3. Any player with that number shown on their board covers the space with a counter. The calling card

is set aside to check the winning board at the end.

4. Play continues until a player has covered every space on their board and calls out "Bingo".

5. The caller, or another player, checks the players game board to check that the spaces have been

correctly covered using the set aside calling cards.

Extension and Other Ideas:

If time is short, play until a player gets 4 in a row or each corner.
