Compton Verney is committed to sharing our passion for art with as many people as possible. As an independent gallery which receives no regular government funding, your support is vital. Now more than ever we rely on donations from visitors to help us develop and maintain our work.

An award-winning art gallery, Compton Verney is sited in a Grade I-listed mansion of 1711 and set in 120 acres of Georgian parkland designed by Lancelot ‘Capability’ Brown. The gallery houses six permanent collections, has an active school and visitor learning programme and hosts a changing programme of exhibitions of historic and contemporary art.

We need your help to:

• Make sure visitors of all ages have the opportunity to be inspired by and engage creatively with art

• Provide inventive and original exhibitions which are accessible to all of our audiences

• Restore and protect our ‘Capability’ Brown landscape for all to enjoy

• Preserve and maintain an important Grade I-listed Robert Adam house and ‘Capability’ Brown Chapel and ensure that they are enjoyed by future generations.

None of this is possible without your help.

When you make a donation of any size,you are welcome to specify an area of yourown interest towards which your donationwill contribute.

Choose from:

• The Exhibition Fund for our exhibitions and collections

• The Adam Fund for our built heritage

• The Inspire Fund for art education

• The Capability Fund for our historic landscape

Every penny counts. For example:£25 helps to provide materials for an educational resource room

£50 provides props for a story telling session to bring our collections to life

£100 enables us to subsidise 50 school children to enjoy educational visits to Compton Verney

£500 provides a text panel to introduce an exhibition

£2,000 covers the annual cost of planting and maintaining new shrubs in our grounds

£15,000 pays for the transportation and insurance for an overseas artwork loaned for an exhibition
