What is Give Miami Day?
Give Miami Day is one of the largest annual giving events in the Southeast United States. Held online, Give
Miami Day allows all individuals in our community to make a philanthropic impact by collectively supporting
local nonprofit organizations. In 2018, Give Miami Day made history, raising $11.5 million for more than 750
local nonprofits. Over 22,000 donors spanning the city, nation and globe participated in the multi-million dollar
movement. Since its inception in 2012, Give Miami Day has raised over $47 million for Greater Miami.
This year’s Give Miami Day will take place on November 21, 2019. The 24 hours of giving begins at 12 a.m.
on November 21 and ends at 12 a.m. on November 22, 2019.

The Miami Foundation seeks your support in building an incentive pool that will provide additional dollars to
participating nonprofits for every donation they receive throughout the 24-hour donation period. In addition, your
in-kind support elevates brand awareness during the day. We invite you to join us in this movement – together we
make an even greater Miami.

The Miami Foundation and its partners will maximize the community’s
generosity by making a bonus gift for every donation between $25 and
$10,000 received on November 21 through givemiamiday.org. The bonus percentage will be calculated after Give Miami Day.

[Million Dollar Milestone recognition at $20,000 commitments]
Gifts between $25 and $100 made during a match minute will be eligible for a
100% match until the match minute pool has been exhausted.

communication channels in order to expand reach in the community.

The following opportunities are exclusive to one sponsor. Prize Pool sponsorship supports select organizations
throughout the day, while Twitter Party sponsorship support the Bonus Pool. Each exclusive sponsorship
receives additional recognition through social media, email, and press releases, in addition to general
sponsorship benefits at the corresponding level.

Customization
Ten to fifteen prizes are awarded to nonprofits to encourage giving at various
times. Premier recognition includes multiple posts per prize throughout the day
